What is the piston out of and what headgasket are you using for your motor?

the engine was purchased from datsun parts llc, i am assuming he uses the 43 dollar engine gasket kit made by fel pro, the piston question will have to be answered by the builder

as far as mechanical stability no but as far as getting a superior product it isnt fine, you dont pay almost 2000 bucks for an engine to do stuff like that, its not like rusty put alot of miles on it before it failed, it was maybe a few hundred miles

Nah I meant if it's a z24 headgasket or z22? I'm assuming it's a z24 since it's a ka24e pistons but just wanted to make sure.

BUt I am safe to say that your engine is a "BUILT" engine easy making that HP. So if that is how much a built engine costs. That makes me believe this engines are just budget builds and are not really capable of those HP numbers. I bet the head is all stock minus the cam...
