Whoracle
So, i decided to upgrade my suspension and with zuum510's help, i also am doing a swap to 280zx struts. I got the struts, got full coilovers and camber plates from ermish-racing.com. We got the front coilovers put on the struts, ad as i was taking the calipers off i decided i want to replace them, so i looked on craigslist and bam! there was a arizonazcar 4piston wilwood kit and a 4.11 subi LSD. Called him and picked them up today :). Now i just need to find some cheap 15" wheels to clear the new brakes :(. Now, the only problem is this. It looks like a drain plug (the oil came out in the bed of my truck as i was driving home >.<) but it isnt threaded. Does a rubber plug that i dont have just go in it or something? LeX
NIIICE, you could look into diamond racing for cheap steel wheels to your specs Quote Link to comment
Whoracle
NIIICE, you could look into diamond racing for cheap steel wheels to your specs yea, i was thinking about checking them out, but i just spent quite a bit of money on the coils and these. I was hoping to trade my 14's with pretty new T1R's for some 15's with tires. Quote Link to comment
bonvo
thet hole is the vent tube hole and nice little colection of parts and ermish parts at that i know the rear coilovers alone are over 500 Quote Link to comment
hang_510
if it doesnt say LSD on the label, you likely have and open diff... thet hole is the vent tube hole they are still avail from nissan. i also have a spare or 2. Quote Link to comment

Whoracle
when i spin it, they both go the same way, doesnt that mean it is a LSD? and as for the price point, aprox. 2200$ so far (struts, 280zx MC, coils, camber plates, shocks, brakes and diff) also, what type of oil do i want to put in the diff? koback68
I hope its not a welded diff. You should generally pull the back plate before you purchase. But thats a cool pile of goods Quote Link to comment
DISLEXICDIME
you have to hold the input shaft still when you spin the out put shaft if they both out put shafts spin the same way your good the hole is for the vent cap Quote Link to comment

Well ill hope for the best that someone swapped an LSD into it instead of swapping the 4.11 R&P to another >.< Quote Link to comment
sssr20det510
go pull the cover already if its welded id get my money back Quote Link to comment
slodat
go pull the cover already if its welded id get my money back I'd ask for my money back if it isn't an LSD, since that is what you were sold. For the record, every Subaru LSD I have seen says LSD on the foil sticker. Quote Link to comment
BJW's FiveTen's
If the person you bought it from will let you get your money back. I bought a trans from someone and it was NFG  Wanted my $100 back and he said core bla bla, and left me holding a bad trans. Live and learn. Check shit out before you buy, enough said:D Quote Link to comment
Whoracle
I didn't have time to pull the cover before going to work, but I plan on doing tomorrow in the morning. Hoping for the best :). If anyone knows someone with cheap 15" wheels and tires lemme know. Quote Link to comment

MicroMachinery
Looks good man. You lucked out. I got burned by a guy that sold me some coilovers and said they were old-school GCs. Went home and researched it, found out they were not.:cursing: Called him back and he gave me the run around for a few weeks until I decided to let it go and let Karma take care of the situation. Be careful. There's some real shysters out there with no conscience. "Caveat Emptor(Beware the Buyer)". Quote Link to comment
fo0manchu
yep, thats an LSD. Just curious, anyone know how the vlsd looks compared to a clsd? Quote Link to comment
