So, i decided to upgrade my suspension and with zuum510's help, i also am doing a swap to 280zx struts. I got the struts, got full coilovers and camber plates from ermish-racing.com. We got the front coilovers put on the struts, ad as i was taking the calipers off i decided i want to replace them, so i looked on craigslist and bam! there was a arizonazcar 4piston wilwood kit and a 4.11 subi LSD. Called him and picked them up today :). Now i just need to find some cheap 15" wheels to clear the new brakes :(.

Now, the only problem is this. It looks like a drain plug (the oil came out in the bed of my truck as i was driving home >.<) but it isnt threaded. Does a rubber plug that i dont have just go in it or something?

when i spin it, they both go the same way, doesnt that mean it is a LSD? and as for the price point, aprox. 2200$ so far (struts, 280zx MC, coils, camber plates, shocks, brakes and diff)

also, what type of oil do i want to put in the diff?

could be welded also pull the cover off and check, 80w90 and lsd additive is fine

yea i just read that here: http://kmhafer.datsun510.com/Subaru.htm

i tried to hold the input shaft and turn the outputs but it was impossible to turn, maybe it's a welded diff ? Well ill hope for the best that someone swapped an LSD into it instead of swapping the 4.11 R&P to another >.<

Looks good man. You lucked out.

I got burned by a guy that sold me some coilovers and said they were old-school GCs. Went home and researched it, found out they were not.:cursing: Called him back and he gave me the run around for a few weeks until I decided to let it go and let Karma take care of the situation.

Be careful. There's some real shysters out there with no conscience.
