izzo
Draynor, what compound you use and where you get it for buffin? Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
picked up some more for him from baxters, McGuire's something platinum i think  Quote Link to comment
Draynor
I am cheap, So I just use the "Meguiar's Ultimate Compound" and then hit it with their "Ultimate Polish"...Then use whatever wax you prefer to finish it off. I get it at walmart usually, But I think parts stores carry it also like $8-$10 a bottle.I had this stuff that cost me $60 but my little brother cracked it last summer, Went everywhere :(http://www.walmart.com/ip/16550255?wmlspartner=wlpa&adid=22222222227000000000&wl0=&wl1=g&wl2=&wl3=21486607510&wl4=&wl5=pla&veh=sem Quote Link to comment

Draynor
Should get some red rattle can to blend the primer spots in :P Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
i was thinking clear before waxing it..... Deff open to ideas Quote Link to comment
Draynor
Clear? As in clearing the car? Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
no, just clearing the primered spots... im not good with paint so i could be way off :D Quote Link to comment
Draynor
Haha. I think some red close to the stock red and then some clear would look better. Then if there is any orange peel we can wet sand that back and buff it out. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
sounds like a plan, u know of anywhere that does color matching in an aerosol can? Quote Link to comment
Draynor
Not anymore, I used to know a guy who could get it done for me cheap but he moved. I will check around. Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
not really worried about cheap bro, if it can get done b4 canby that would be sweet! If not im cool with laying clear over the primer spots just to make it look "better" Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
got a new toy in for the goon!!! Its the intermittent wiper switch from a 620, im hoping to mod it into the goon to help make it a better DD. Wipers are a key function in oregon Quote Link to comment
izzo
Intermittent ones, too! Damn drizzles lol 1 Quote Link to comment
bonvo
it didnt come with those stock? intermittent is stock on the 610s im surprised it doesnt come on the 710s i find myself missing them in the subi Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
why? the 610's got IRS and other goodies. doesnt surprise me Quote Link to comment
bonvo
this is true but the 710s had the fiber optic knobs as well right? and over all there almost identical aside from rear suspension Quote Link to comment
Eagle_Adam
ya, they got the fiber optics. things like the locks and interior bits are different too but i don't know all of the oddities between the two. Just what ive noticed between NismoDr's 610 and the goon ;) Im hoping this is a plug an play option! when i installed the intermittent wipers on a friends truck the motor stayed the same just needed to swap the switch and control box. here's to hoping.
