This popped up today

88 stanza 4x4

Wtf.

I'd rock it.

If only it had pics. And if it's one of them Stanza wagons it'd be cool as hell. Something tells me the owner means 4wd as opposed to 4x4 though.

UP for sale is a 1979 Datsun 200sx. 5 speed manual trans with power breaks and a power mirror that still works. Only has 37xxx miles on it. This was my project car for 2yrs but now I just dont have the time or money to afford it anymore. Car is in good good interior wise exterior is virtually rust free. I replaced the altenetor and water pump, clutch assembly, distributor cap and rotor, front brake pads and calipers, rear drum break shoes, clutch master and slave cylinder, valve cover gasket, heater core, fuel pump and thermostat housing and thermostat. The car runs but needs a carburetor rebuild and a blower motor and a few other small things. It really is a great car.... I love it and wish I didnt have to sell it but dont have the time or money to put into it like I wish I could. Im just trying to get a good little car that will get me back and forth to work and school that i dont need to work on.
Name is Justin call me at 732-570-8839 I work alot so leave a voice mail and ill call you back.

1979 Dastsun 310
Typical rust above wheel arches and rockers most is surface rust. I don't know if the motor runs but it isn't locked up, it has a manual transmission tires are aged. Original 79' owners manual and service manual for the car clean title one original owner. Owner lost the keys but doors are unlocked someone messed with the ignition on the column. Interior is all together but needs to be cleaned from sitting in a barn. Have the hood someone took it off and the bolts are missing. As stated, it doesn't run and tires are shot so it will need to be trailered or bring tires for it to roll on a dolly

Email or call 616-890-0832

Did y'all see the 510 that was for sale in DC yesterday? I think it was a 2-door w/ rust, no seats and no drivetrain, but I think it was selling for $800 and is now gone. That was fast! I wondered if you grabbed it Qwik?

Missed that one unless it was the shell that was listed a few weeks ago and then put back up.

Did it have no hood or front glass too?

You know I saw it so fast last night before falling asleep I don't remember. He said 'It is rusty, but in very restorable condition.' And I want to say it was light yellow. I believe the hood was off.

He must've removed it as fast he posted it because I was cl Baltimore last nite because I'm in York, PA & didn't see it at all.

If it is the same car, I spoke with him two weeks ago and he could not find the title. I told him I needed a title and it took two weeks but he called me on Friday and said he got one for it. I arranged to go get it tomorrow if he didn't sell it sooner so I will call today and see what happened.

Awesome! Hope it all works out David. I am guessing he pulled it down again. I saw it between 12:30 and 1AM. And if stinky Turbo was on that night and didn't see it, it couldn't have been up very long at all. Not many folks are shopping for Datsuns after midnight!

Look forward to pics if you grab it!

Talked to the guy today. I am going to see it tomorrow with my tow dolly. If it is worth it, I will bring it home.

Let you know tomorrow afternoon.

Ok I just got back from seeing the above 2 door. It is a roach!

Very rusty and I must be CRAZY but I dragged it home anyway.

(It's a sickness I tell you)

This car has belonged to the same family since new. The father bought it and the 2 sons both had it as their first car. Lots of mods over the years. It has 810 struts and some sort of lowering springs on it. Also has a B210 brake booster on it and a full lock set.

I have named it "The Tail Dragger".

While I was coming home with her on the tow dolly, a guy caught my attention and pointed to the back. I pulled over and found that I had been dragging the tail light panel on the road. It was only attached by the wiring harness. It was super rusty and all the bouncing must have finally freed it from the body. Yikes! Too bad, the tail light lenses were in pretty good shape before that.

Anyway, this one is going to be a parts car unless one of you brave souls wants to have a go at putting it back together.

I will post up a proper thread for her in the parts section once I get some better pics but here are a few for now.
