  1. I checked the compression... piston psi #1 185 #2 190 #3 190 #4 185 That is why it is knocking BAD! Before my compression was at 160-150 psi So my engine didn't give a damn from the lack of gas. So it knocked less... But now it is knocking realllly bad. At least my gasket is still good...
  2. My guess is this fucken carb. I know how to weld aluminum now..... HRH, efi conversion time. I will also buy a new distributor vacuum advance..
  3. from zero to 20 with teeth. If you have that. Then i will go look for the pulley then. Thanks!
  4. Yes, they are missed matched. I want to go to the yard and look for a l20b and take them off...
  5. My truck ALWAYS has been making this clanking noise from the engine. From any rebuild and or motor. When I ROmp on it it clanks after a while. And it really clanks when going up a hill. I cant figure it out? Leaning out???? I placed the distributor at 8 degs and adjusted the valves. IT HELPED ALOT! But you can still hear it faintly and Greatly on the hills. I just want to smash on my engine with out worries... L20b, weber 32/36, no smog crap, peanut head, dizzy... Any one have the correct jet setting for a l20b with a weber 32/36 ? Any one knows who can tune it for me in the LA area??? It sounds like this... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Due7mkTHMlw&feature=related

  11. This is a realllly realllly good deal... What I can see is disk brake and ball joint conversion with coilovers and a ka24 with a bed cover and a fiberglass dash....
  12. All I can say is this... You better start looking for new front brake disk and pads. THEY are really hard to find... I was talking to this van owner and he had hard time trying to find them...
  13. What I wondered it this... The JUKE has a 1.6 liter, the CUBE has a 1.8 liter. AND THE Renault CLEO/Sentra has a 2.0... And it is on the same engine family!!!! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nissan_MR_engine This is taking me back to the 510 days where the 510 will have a 1.6 and people will swap in 2.0 or a 1.8 and stuff.... I would imagine the blocks are pretty much the same and we could just change heads like the good old days? Get the best head and the best engine combo and really boost the shit out of it!!! Man I wish I had some money right now to experiment....
  14. LOL! Might as well say it now. Its a w58. :D They guy I bought it from promised me it was rebuilt and a square port. LIES! But its a good head. Not shaven down much...

  16. I almost got it running for the tenth time!
  17. My father has a rather beater ass 1966 mustang. But I modded the front suspension with a 1 inch sway bar, strut bar and lowering springs. Well this tuner tried to race him and he managed to cut him off into the on ramp! The Honda was ahead for a second when then the Honda tires fell off. The Honda crashed into the rail and fell off the other side. Father kept on going victorious....
  18. So no lube on the head bolts? I read the factory manual and it does not state anything. I will just chaise the threads and install...
  19. OHHH!!!! I think I know what happen... When the motor was out. The slave must of pushed out too much. But when the motor was placed back in. It was pushed back and created too much pressure. MMMMMM!!!! Little things, little things... THANKS!
  20. What I find weird is that it was all fine until I placed the motor back in... I hope everything is ok in there... I will try that, thanks Mike!
