I don't know about using the word easy,, as the autos came with a pedal box devoid of a spot to bolt a clutch pedal to. You can box the end and weld it up, but you also will need a clutch pedal ,, and either bend the brake arm and weld on smaller pad,, or retro-rit one outta something else. If at all possible try to get a manual box from someone on here as it would be quite a bit easier. Everything else is very straight forward cuz the clutch master is the same one used in almost every Datsun. We used the OG tranny crossmember from the auto without modification on a 280z 5speed... and the Z 5speed (or longtail 4speed) are the exact same length as your auto tranny,, so youe current driveline fits perfect. Your results may vary

Yeah if you put them on the axle but since nobody is that stupid,,,,,,,,, I was commenting on the post above mentioning BODY lift . Hence using BLOCKS to lift BODY farther from frame,,,, thus giving what is known as a BODY lift. BUT I bought quite a few things but the best thing are the safety glasses,,, hell you can buy 4 pair for the price of one pair at the local hardware.. So much easier to find a pair in a dark garage ( fluorescents take forever to light in winter) when you have bunch,,, rather than ,,,, one lost pair.

He is likes the stock wheels,, it was almost pulling teeth to get him to try those aluminum wheels on. Just wondering how many caps do you need? A buddy did his whole front floor of his 62 ford falcon van in POR15 and fiberglass mat , it was Swiss cheese,,,, and i know for a fact it lasted 10 years before he sold it. I don't think it actually "soaks in" to the mat like fiberglass resin does, but it binds it together and is strong as if it did.... And if you ever rode in one of those,, if it had a flimsy front floor ,,you would know it real quick. :blink: Gotta paint over it but since it was just a floor i think we just used Rustoleum from the hardware store.
