The ones on ebay are for 78-81 510 goons... or 68-73 sedan's ... I may do that, thanks! :D ZX brakes share the same hose, am I correct? I was planning to upgrade to those after the car is rolling.

Thats sweet, I didn't know they made a 510 hatch in that year. Always a fan of the air intake sticking out, also. :D

Sad I have completed so little in the past 5 months since I posted in this thread... Though I have collected many, many more parts towards getting this running. Hoping to be running by the end of the year...(HA) Anyway, I got some solex locks installed. There was some surface rust on the door around the lock, thats why I stripped all of that. Forgot to get a pic. From china... The locks didn't fit into the 510 the way they are suppose to go in. I cut it to fit. It looks a lot smoother than this when I was finished, I forgot to get a pic though. I just sprayed a little primer onto where I had removed the paint from the metal. I forgot to get pics from before, but here is the finished lock on the other door. Sloppy job with the primer, didn't think of the over spray. :( Other things. polished my wheels, got tires then found out my wheels where 4x100. Trans crossmember. And lots of other things, I got distributor cap/rotor, brake pads/shoes, wheel cylinders, hardware, clutch master/slave, ect. Also looked through all the cool stuff I got with the car, complete set of new front bushings, ect. Even got my engine hoist! I'm going to finish assembling everything soon. I still have some stuff to buy before I will have everything.

Cool, I'll do that. For the flywheel I thought they where like head bolts and need to be really tough? Yeah lots of pick'n'pull places, but only Z cars or newer ones ... 280zx, ~82' 200sx ect. Maybe those bolts would work? hmm.

I have searched. I am wondering where I can find bolts for engine mounts, driveshaft bolts, flywheel bolts(Do datsun U20 bolts work on L20? Can get those from datsunparts), ect. I need them to put the engine in of course. The only bolts I got with the car is just a bottle of mixmatched random bolts. Any ideas? Or a place I can look this up my self?

I'de pay $50 for one ! Just needs a spoiler, cut springs, a loud muffler, and call it good! Classic ricer right there.

Naww just rebuild it if it breaks. :D I also bought my 510 when I was 16, Its been a year now and it still isn't running. Shit gets expensive when you build for track, thats all I gotta say. And don't be like the average idiot, take it slow and cruise along like a grandma until you know your car. :)

Ah. I did not know this. Still, if my maths are correct if it is square 4x100 than one end to the other should be the same measurement as diagonal... Still, stock 510's are 4x114.3 right? The pattern of these wheels didn't fit on the 510 hubs.

Nawww, I love skinny tires. :P at least 175/60's would have looked nicer. Going to buy some wheel adapters this week, once those arrive I can get a pic of what they look like on the car. I've heard if you shave a bit of metal off the ZX calipers you can get them to fit under some 13" wheels. Does anyone know the measurement of the diameter of the ZX brakes? I know the rotor is 10", but how far does the caliper stick out? The inside of these wheels have 12" of clearance if I remember right.

I'ma just roll in and leave these here.. They are some cheap budget 175/70-13's. I know I should have gotten 175/50-13's... :(
