  1. Naw, thats tucked. And your not even slammed! dude GTFO.
  2. ooooo!!! Awesome. :D Yes, I think those are the ones, different offset than mine though.
  3. I think I want to buy camber plates now.
  4. Usually these CAI's improve throttle response, but stock carb air cleaners look like they get lots of flow already. Ha, I thought it was a K&N adapter! It looks unmodified! Great job on that. Edit, OH BTW does it have that ricery whooshing intake sound that cone filters usually make? :D
  5. Hmm OK. I'll call some stores locally. edit, ordered them, will post when they are coated. :D
  6. Its $200 extra to have them coated @ topend before they ship em, is that overpriced or normal?
  7. check my avatar, and the link in my post. :P The gold wheels with silver/polished edge. I got mine with the car, I've never seen a datsun 510 with them. They are 13x5.5's... I don't mean to thread hijack or troll, just a comment.
  8. First time I've ever seen another set off enkei's like mine! http://i846.photobucket.com/albums/ab21/ayuaddict2/Japan%20part%201/Yokohama1/rat%20sunrise/DSC_0633.jpg THAT IS EPIC, but how do they keep them from rusting?
  9. How does this effect handling? Its already a solid-axil... Still cool. :D
  10. Just spotted a grey S130(?) Z car behind me while I was coming up the hill to my house, slammed to half throttle cause I'm still breaking in my toyota. He kept up with me until he turned off to a side street. No poics cause its illegal to use phone and dive apparently... plus my mum was in the passenger seat. /excuse
  11. That thing looks ridiculously cool. Great job on that! :D Right now you made me so glad I have a goon.
  12. OFC, I said I would. :P And am >not< buying from bills Datsun's. Going to ask top-end how much it is for them to coat it before they send it to me. :D Thanks for the help/answers.
  13. Where to buy?! Do want... That looks awesome, with that you can hang out with all the civic guys and fit right in. :D Does it actually improve throttle response/performance?
  14. Oh, thats what I thought. Thanks. :P As long as the low end is good enough for street use, high RPM is all I care about on a track or autocross.
  15. Then if nobody likes them, whats the point of headers?
  16. rockauto has one of these Tie Rod End Adjusting Sleeve. http://info.rockauto...r/4251021-1.jpg Is that the part your talking about? edit, nevermind.. It seems this part is tough to find. Mabye one from another nissan car could work?
  17. ^Isnt that why you get your exhaust welded...? Yes, I've made up my mind. :P And you answered my question, ty. I would do head work, ect but I'm sitting on a freshly rebuilt engine that has been sitting for about 5 years. I'll do more head work/porting, ect later. I've got a (new)single downdraft weber for it, its good enough for now. I want the car running, but unfortunately to register it I need a working exhaust system. So why not get a header while I'm at it? Ordering the clutch today if all goes well, maybe the crossmember for the trans also. The project has some progress!
  18. Yes I know, more like 100whp would be nice to start out with, I'm talking about the future... Whatever I'm getting the damn header. lol. :D 50mm carbs would be nice...
  19. Headers are louder. I can afford them. They look nicer. I have to weld my exhaust anyways. I am going to be doing more top end work on the engine after I get it running, maybe dual carbs and a nice cam shaft, valves, port it, ect... The higher flow header will help a little bit more every time I mod something else, correct? Every little bit counts. When we are talking `156whp or 160whp... Its... more...
  20. Its worth ruining my fenders.
  21. This is why I bought this car, so I can have something that I can push yet never have to worry about breaking my parents stuff. :D So 8k RPM pulls and clutch drops all the time should not be a problem? Sorry dude, shipping would probably be too much. I'm on a budget! :(
  22. These coilovers I got with my 510 have Tokico BZ3099 inserts(87-89 MR-2). These are at maximum height, so they are great for getting your car really low. Hope that helps... edit, the BZ1085's are for the 87-89 MR-2 fronts, BZ3099's are the rear which are the ones you would want for a coilover setup. At least thats what I've got on mine!
  23. I would go through you but I could not afford the shipping, sorry. <Ahh.. The ratsun salute.
  24. Yeah I just used google and found a few places that do it. Don't worry. :D Did you see my 7MGE exhaust manifold on my yota? I definitely wont let that happen to my 510. edit, They give me slightly more HP, they probably sound nicer? I have to weld the exhaust already? I have an L20b. Funny there are some new earplugs in the ash-trey from the previous owner, along with some coins(rebate!) a hex socket(12mm?), a lighter, a sea shell, ect... OH and there where sunglasses in the glove box! My point is, I don't care about the noise level as long as its legal. My Toyota can be for when I want a quiet car.
