  1. ^That goon looks awesome with those coilovers! The coilovers I got with my goon have Tokico illumina BZ3099 MR-2 inserts in them(5-way adjustable, too!). Hope that helps.
  2. Lol, its just a joke. Thanks for the help.:P Edit, Also are there any bad brands of filler that I should watch out for?
  3. I got an rc tamiya 350z a while back and put it on drift tires, they are quite cool sadly I never got good at driving it.
  4. Are you sure? I was going to get some Phosphoric acid etch/prep. You can get the stuff at most any hardware store for around $15 a gallon. This stuff does 2 things, neutralizes rust (really just slows it down alot, you never get rid of it unless you cut that stuff out) and etches the metal so paint will stick better. I use POR-15 Marine Clean for all degreasing/final cleaning before painting, stuff works great! I'm sure there are other products out there that work just as well, but it's what I've had good luck with. There's really no short cuts on body work if you want it to look good, you gotta put in the time. Are you on a tight budget? If so rustoleum is an option, POR-15 or other rust encapsulating paints are ideal (there are many that do the same thing). Once you got that rust encapsulator on, you can lay your filler right on top of it while it's just barely tacky. Fillers have etching agents in them that will bond to the paint/primer, and you still have your metal treated/sealed underneath. If you go the POR route or use a similar product, a tie coat primer will be needed to bond your top coat. Tie coats are nice too because alot of them are high build. Gives you a chance to tune the panels right before paint. <img src="http://community.ratsun.net/public/style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif" alt=":D" class="bbc_emoticon">
  5. ERGH! I called a bunch of target locations and found out that one of them has the SC2 collectors in stock tomorrow, so i'm going to pick that up. If that fails then bestbuy also said they have it! And they are not accepting preorders!!
  6. Rust inhibitor? Please explain. :P Will do, thanks.
  7. I've done more since this pic, but here is what i'm doing. The rust spots I'm talking about are about 5-10mm big, and take a long time to sand out.
  8. Some red Datsun pickup... Not sure of the model. Looked clean, though.
  9. Hello, I'm sanding the paint off my fender to paint it and theres lots of small rust spots. If I just sand the majority of the rust off of it, is it OK to paint over the rest, or is there a good reason not do do that? The paint is rattle-can rustoleum primer. They are only very small black-ish spots at this point. Also for the inside of it I'm going to get undercoating for and was wondering the same thing for that. Can get pics when I get home.
  10. They only started developing it in 2005, I think. So development time was around 4-5 years.
  11. Have you taken a look at the new editor? Its great, players can do a lot with it. Also have you tried League of legends? people who made DoTA made it, its free you might like it.
  12. Not sure if any of you are into gaming much, but starcraft II is coming out tomorrow(PST -8:00) tonight and I'm going to pick up my copy at the midnight release tonight. http://us.blizzard.com/en-us/ If you dont know what it is, Starcraft is a strategy game that came out in 1998, the expansion pack came out in 2000. Its still played today, if you go online at any time there are at least several thousand players.
  13. Lol, I know this by now. :P The 80' 200sx at the pick'n'pull probably had a 200mm flywheel. My Aasco flywheel is 200mm also.
  14. Did you notice the picture I posted? :P Lock works flawlessly now.
  15. Yes. No big deal, I'll go back when I have more cash to spend and pull as many parts as I can find useful.
  16. Hmm I could rig something up above the license plate... Thanks for the info everyone!
  17. I re-read your posts and found out that I was probably half asleep at work and didnt read them correctly... Thank you for the help I will be going with the roadster PP as soon as I get the cash. For now, this just arrived in the mail... They were out of stock of the Fidanza. Cant wait for some epic clutch drops.
  18. I got a blurry pic of a sweet slammed Z outside of kregen auto parts(A plead for forgiveness to the picture-nazi's)... I could see some sweet camber plates in the back, nice seats. Damn nice Z... I'm still getting useto the new camera in my phone...
  19. I just spotted a dark grey lowered 2dr 510 with nice 14" or 15" 8-spoke silver wheels 49th avenue in oakland. Looked great! I was too busy shifting my brothers Z to get out my phone and take a pic.
  20. Lol, all i've got is 220 grit... Time to go to the store. I assumed someone would say that.
  21. For all the piping and everything? Damn, not bad. Thanks for the info. Coming along... Trans rebuild still stalled so I took off the fender to paint it. I think primer grey would look ALOT better than brown on an orange car.
  22. Somebody watched too much of this. haha.
  23. Yes, your spoiler must be at least 4ft tall for a ricer.
