  1. Alright, thanks for the replies. I have an idea of what to get now. The filters I have been using are the K&N wrench-off ones...
  2. Have been searching, I must suck at keywords or something. I have been using 10w30 pennzoil(It was the stuff that was in there before I got it) on my toyota w/ 7MGE(3 liter inline 6 DOHC, 1992) and I heard from some people(on the ... internet...) they think its complete crap, so I'm curious what other brands you guys recommend, I was told on here to get royal purple for my datsun, would this work well for my toyota also? Synthetic vs regular? Also, about thickness compared to weather, this morning was very cold(below freezing the previous night), ice on the roof of my car, I started it up and it made a bad clicking sound(sounded like it was coming from the head/valvetrain) shut it off and checked the oil level, was fine, so I took the other car to work. I researched this and found some sources saying it was probably that the oil was too thick, and someone with a similar sounding issue that changed to 5w30 said that fixed it. I'm wondering if I should run that in winter/cold weather? Also, for my datsun its a rebuilt L20b, I know I'm not suppose to run synthetic for a while before its broken in. I was gonna use break-in oil for the first run then THIS royal purple oil. I'm curious what spec oil I should be using? 10w30? 10w40? Any comments are welcomed. Thanks.
  3. I play SC2 mainly now, but I use to play SC a bit. Last time I went online a few months ago there where several thousand users online, try battle.net east server. Runs fine on win7 here. Unfortunately I'm pretty horrible at that game.
  4. They did, but 8 spoke. Enkei 80's, 13x5.5 100x4 bolt. I got em with my car, the PO told me he got them from a guy who said they where on a Z car, yeah right. Sorry to threadjack...

Naw, I was checking out this cool mountain in front of me after the road changed from steep uphill, to steep downhill. :(

Ah well, maybe I'll get traffic school or something and not have to pay it...

  10. BZ3038 Tokico illumina adjustables for 280zx.
  11. Well, with the current setup is it as low as you want it? If so, just go with stock ZX shocks. The only advantage I see for the shortened setup is for going very low.
  12. It depends on how low you want to go. If you want to be able to slam it on 13's, go with the mr2 ones(bz3099).
  13. Just got the BZ3099's in the mail! total length: 22 in length of lower part(which goes into the strut): 13.25 in length of rod: 9in Definitely!!
  14. $250 before tax off ajusa.com, for two BZ3099's. (those arrive tomorrow, I got a pair with the car but one of em is shot) But I didn't know there was a tokico distributor on here, hmm. This is maximum height on 14" wheels, FYI. http://img443.images...10129131459.jpg
  15. I already install them, but I just went out and measured the strut tube and its about 14" long.
  16. ZX strut tubes on 510? shortened? You mean tokico shocks? I'm running shortened ZX struts/coilovers with tokico BZ3099's, they are the rear toyota MR-2 illumina's. For stock ZX struts I would guess you just use 280zx stuff. Tokico illumina BZ3038 for stock 280zx struts I think. Hope that helps.
  17. If you upgrade to race suspension the camber is fully tune-able. If you want that much camber, you can have it and the handling characteristics it comes with. It looks cool, but sadly it ruins the handling.
  18. It does not hold air. I tried going out every morning and pumping it up for about a month and realized it was hopeless.
  19. I keep it covered... Nobody knows... But yes, I have taken this into consideration its just the fact I need the brakes working before I can put it into the garage.
  20. maor lowar... still no engine.
  21. Little update, coilovers are installed. It started raining right when I got the passenger side done. before, coilovers... At highest adjustment. How it sits now...
