The cylinders are new and fully compressed. Tried that. Tried that. I'm going to check the shoes, maybe I was sent the wrong ones.

Hello, I completely disassembled the drum brakes on my 510 and started to replace one side, got the new wheel cylinder, shoes, and springs all installed and went to put the new drum on and it wont fit. I spent over an hour messing around with it to try to get it to fit and still nothing. The adjuster is backed off as much as it will go, the cylinder is pushed back all the way, the e-brake is completely OFF. Any ideas to get it on? I've searched and found no solution. I can try cutting or grinding the metal part of the shoes to get them to tuck under the drum.

Last time I tried in my toyota I got 17 seconds...

I searched. Basically what I found is some 13" wheels fit ZX bakes, some don't and some fit if you grind the calipers a little. So the info I need is how much the ZX calipers stick out from the rotor. The 13" enkei 80's I have have an inner diameter of 12 inches(maybe 12.5? I did crappy measuring) at the rim, its in a cone shape in so the further in the smaller the measurement gets. They are pushed out like 25mm by the wheel adapters. The distance between the 9" rotor and the wheel is 2 inches at the point its mounted. With the stock 510 brakes. So, can anyone get the measurement of the ZX brakes, or any other optional upgrades that will fit? Thanks! I'm going to run the stock ones for a while, but for autoX and general street I will want better brakes.

I actually have never noticed that sign before until you pointing it out in that pic. Was taking BART to work that day, was up late and there at like 8:00 had to park several blocks down. I was in a bad mood up until I see the little yellow datsun parked there. :D
