  1. Dude, don't even worry about that shit, you should see the crap that shows up. Just go to home depot and buy some cheap flat black, and get that shit one color, no one will ever know but us ;) Come on down man! Stop by my truck and find me, I'll be wearing my datto shirt, so I'll stand out.

  4. Downloaded! If it runs your downloads down, I'll try to re-hose it from my dropbox
  5. Mother of god, i hope the little kid in the video is okay. I can't believe how insane that was.
  6. Looks like the only way they're sold now is through a few exclusive dealers. I found that discount tire seems to be the only distributor around here that still gets them. IIRC America's tire is owned via discount, or vice versa, but I'm not 100%
  7. Most 512s have been discontinued, so if you can find them you generally get an awesome price on them. The 912s have dropped in price since the 512s started going out. I paid 77$ for my 912s, and a friend got his 512s for $50
  8. I like Falkens. I had a set of ZE512's that were on the back of my truck, and even after beating the ass out of them, I couldn't see any wear on them after over a year. I bought a set of ZE512's for my stockers also, over a year ago. Drove on them for about 7 months-ish and I can tell you, they really don't like camber. They wear like a sonova bitch. I have ZE912's on the back now, and I like them a lot more in the rain then most tires I've driven on. They shed water great for the price of the tire. My buddies STI has Falken's 912's on it, and compared to any other tires on a high HP car I've driven, I feel they handle exceptionally well. Especially considering their price tag. I don't know much about the Sincera, but I can tell you I've had a pretty positive experience with Falken tires.
  9. Pretty sure around 11-noon. We'll be meeting a few guys up on the way! You're welcome to join us if you're up for the drive
  10. I did mine by hand out of the truck. Filed it up, used huge screwdriver and turned it until I pumped about a quart through it, and without turning it over, slid it into place. Voila
  11. Sounds like a monster Bob  Looks like you're coming right along!
  12. Haha DTP you so excited  Actually wasn't the one to do the block paint, that was all M_o_T! Dude is a superb engine builder and an even better fabrication-er! He's gonna get so much good coming to him for this motor. I'm like a little kid in a candy shop everytime I walk into the garage the last few days  It may not get side drafts, for drivability purposes. I've been looking at a 38/38 outlaw, but we'll see how it runs on the 32/36 first
  13. Ouch man, that sucks. I've un-sized a motor before without doing damage by removing the spark plugs (removes compression) and breaking it loose by cranking it over with a breaker bar on the crank. But this was also a lawn mower and blew up a few days later (not from the seizing)
  14. Can I safely call it a race motor without fear of being flamed? _DSC0041 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr _DSC0048 by metalmonkey47, on Flickr
  15. This is gonna be a fun motor  Gimmie a few weeks ish, give or take... and I'll have this guy in, with the help of the always awesome Master_o_turbonics! The cam is the same one discussed here: http://community.ratsun.net/topic/31098-help-identifying-a-racer-brown-cam/ Not quite .500, but relatively close. According to Datsunwizard ''325R is 275 degrees at .025"lift, 250 degrees at .050" lift and .475" lift at zero lash.'' The motor's gonna be an absolute torque monster. I feel like I am gonna be capable of around 150whp+ with the right carb setup. This motor has a very high potential with a small turbo and an open chamber head and EFI. Or well tuned carb.
  16. Sounds like a bad voltage reg. Overcharging is not good.
  17. This just goes to show the mental health of the citizens of the USA. The increase in these mass murders/terrorist attacks/etc is insane. The media blowing (not meant to be a pun) these stories up over the span of months isn't helping either.
  18. This. Most (if not all) Datsun shifters are M8x1.75
