  2. ^this. I pulled the AC system out and it raised up about 2 inches. WTF finally lowered it and now It's much sexier.
  3. Mine literally had no play on the input shaft side, but was completely decimated. Wish I took pictures. When I took it to a driveline shop to have the U-joints replaced, they told me it was a wonder that the driveshaft hadn't broken. Then I told em it only had 80HP
  4. I think he means the thread ;)
  5. That an EGR block off? If you wanna mail me a template, i'll see what i can cut up fee 'o charge. I've been wanting to get some precise machining/fab work done lately Got plenty of small aluminum scraps laying around somewhere from my dash project.

  7. Why not just get an electronic dizzy? People sell them on here all the time.
  8. Same here. It's why I was 100% against my dad buying one. He's replacing one hell of a bike. It's like going from a Corvette to a Civic wagon. blegh. Either way, I like the bike because my dad enjoys the hell out of it, and it's sharp as hell. Thanks!
  9. Sounds like my U joints when they were going out. Pulled my driveshaft to inspect, and found that one of the bearing cups at the input shaft side had completely shattered and fallen apart. It was a wonder the driveshaft stayed on.
  10. So many opportunities of ollz to add to my sig here
  11. I dunno, Charlie made it for em back in the day. I hear they had shitty kitchens, but Charlie improvised!
  12. Hes goin to get some from Charlie
  13. Perhaps I over greased the throw out bearing? Hmmm.... well my current one is on warranty where I work, so I'll just snag another and go lift my car up at my friends shop.
  14. GGZilla, It has done it in 1'st before on a hill, but only when I'm trying real hard to get away. I try to slip it as little as possible, but I'm finding it more and more difficult to do so. I really just want a stronger pressure plate, to provide more clamping force. It doesn't grab very hard at higher RPM's. My adjustments are right on whatever it was you mentioned in my previous thread that I had specifically for my slippage issue after replacing my clutch. It helped for a while, but It's slowly started slipping gradually more every day. I'll get pictures of my old clutch parts tomorrow, and see if there's anything odd you might notice.
  15. Anyone ever experienced it? I noticed that in reverse I occasionally get a nasty bit of clutch chatter when in reverse at around 2400RPM backing out of my driveway. At the same time, it seems like the clutch is getting slipperier every day to the point that it's a burden getting off a hill. I spoke to a few guys at work that think I might just have a weak pressure plate, however it's all brand new. At the same time, I was recommended that I might just have the old pressure plate re-built by a local clutch shop (well known for their quality parts and work) to be a little stiffer and stronger. Any advice or thoughts on this? Also, this is on an A series
  16. lol they weren't that cool guys. Just random ass pictures I got as soon as my dad showed up with it. I do love them though
  17. Lemme just say first, SKIB, ban the spammer. Second, I remember picking up my 210 and thinking the first thing I was gonna do was rip out the shitty A15 and drop in an SR. Hell, I still wanna. Theres a guy on 240ATL selling a gold top SR with forged internals that needs a re-ring/sleeves for $300. Tempted? Yes. I will never do it though. After driving my car for 10000 miles, I've realized how much fun you can have with 90HP and a little patience. I can honestly say I'm 100% glad that I didn't fuck it up. The A motor has been so faithful up to this point that it seems like it would be stupid to tear it out. That's why my LZ project is on the side for now. Honestly Josh, stick with the A14 and I think in about a year or so you'll be glad you did so. When you're financially ready and have a second car to drive then you can swap it and beat the shit out of it. Datsun's in Georgia are already hard to come by, keep yours straight!! I'm more then willing to come throw a hand in sometime getting it on the road, just let me know ;)
