  1. I wouldn't mind the west coast Drivers here are moronic retards. I don't see how I could loose my case. I'm going back to the scene of the accident tomorrow to see if she crossed a solid white line where she cut in front of me. If so, it's a clear cut case. According to the cop it was! I only have liability, so it will all come out of my pocket unless I can prove that I wasn't at fault.
  2. Alright.... here we go. I was driving down the far right lane, pulling into the turn lane and was cut off by a Scion (I thought it was a vibe but learned otherwise) that jumped into the turn lane and hit the brakes. I was following my brother to get tires so I can bring him home while they put tires on. When she cut me off and hit the brakes, she had started to pull into on coming traffic when cross-traffic came off the light and she slammed on the brakes and I hit her right rear corner. Coincidentally, the cop in the first picture ran up seconds later and asked if we were okay and what happened. For reference in the rest of the story, this was NOT the cop that ticketed me.. He asked me to move the truck and asked her to move her car into the parking lot on the side. This cop was actually pretty cool. Very nice, calm and stopped to listen. Turns out that cop was off duty in his personal car only a lane or so away and was just rear ended seconds before. He ran over to see if we were okay. We got into the side lot, and another on-duty cop showed up and got my information. I stood around and looked at the truck to see if I was going to be able to drive it home. Which I did. The investigating cop NEVER came over to ask me what happened. He NEVER investigated the incident with me and NEVER even saw the position of the vehicles in the accident. He wasn't rude or mean, he was very short with me. When he came over he wrote me a ticket for following too closely, gave me his number a case number, and left. She was gone before I got a record of my ticket. I WILL be fighting the ticket. If you notice, the damage on my truck is on the far right corner, not in the middle where it should have been if she was already in my lane and I rear ended her. Her damage was on the right corner of her car. Technically, if she was in the turn lane turning right when I hit her like she said she was, the damage would have been on the right corner of my truck and around the center of hers. I WILL be fighting the ticket, and will be pushing for her to be put at fault. NOW, on to the damage. The radiator core support is buckled, but probably fixable. The radiator isn't damage, nor is the frame bent. The headlight's didn't even break. The grill is torn up, bumper is destroyed and the rest is obvious.
  3. Damn how did I miss that Should have known someone would go there... to be honest, I expected it to be Izzo or Skib Story in a few guys. I'm gonna be fighting this ticket to the death! EDIT: Btw, for those who asked, yes I'm okay.
  4. Sweet bonvo! Glad to see it turned out okay. I hope mine turns out that good. I'm ordering new fender and hood soon. Gonna source em out.local first. It drives okay, all just cosmetic damage. I'll be back with the story soon.

  8. I LOVE boso/shakotan. Just don't go all out pleassseeee... too much boso eventually turns into bozo. You're on the right track One of the locals has a slight boso style 620..
  9. I've seen pictures of this truck on here before. I'll have to go see if I can dig them up.
  10. Totally missed out on all of your replies. Don't have time to go through individually, but let me just put in my $.2. Maybe it stems from my love for southern culture, my family and the way they were raised, etc. I look back at the 1920's as prime time. As us with ANY era, there was bad blood somewhere. Looking at where we're at as a country now though, I can't help but imagine that we're tearing ourselves to pieces and destroying our own existence. Life seemed so much simpler back then. I've NEVER encountered an older gentlemen at work that would prefer the times we live in now over the 50's-60's that they grew up in. We are walking ourselves into extinction one step at a time. When I walk into a small antique shop, I don't go to buy old cool shit, I go to reminisce. Every little spoon and door knob has a story to tell.
  11. More progress. It's turning out pretty good so I think I'll get some more for my bed. Also, some other random pics. I did the pan gasket. VERY easy. Just have to un bolt the center support under the pan, slides straight out. After that, center steering link needs to be unhooked from one side, turn the steering wheel in to move it out so you can pull it out to clear the pan, and the pan comes straight down. Took me about 2 hours.
  12. Stick with your NGK's. NGK > any other plug.

  15. +30 brackets = 200 before taxes. Estimated Total: $ 226.69 Straight from summit's website shipped to my zip. (1 hours down the road) ^^^^ Mine is still brand new without a scratch on it and I even have all the original boxes. I don't think I need to justify my price. Good lookin out though.
  16. Selling my fuel cell/mount brackets that I was going to use on the 620. It's a summit brand 16 gallon fuel cell. Foam filled with a 0-90ohm fuel level sender for GM gauges. I'll be going a different route, so I'd like to get rid of this space hog. It's still brand new and was never mounted. I payed $201 for it AND the mount brackets. I'd like to get $180 + shipping. Pretty firm on it but I'm willing to sway if you can make a good enough offer or a good member. http://www.summitrac...rts/SUM-290108/ Also selling my 14' 6 lug Pacer wheels and center caps that came on my truck. Chrome is in good shape and tires are good with little dry rot. $150 OBO local pick up ONLY. Has good 215/75/14's on it now.
  17. Are 620 UTE tail lights and turn signal lens's the same as the USDM? (fitment wise.)

  18. Naw, she was gone before I realized what happened. My tail light lens is broken in two pieces now too :( I think she may have caught it with some trim pieces on her bumper when she was backing up. ergggggg
  19. ^^^this is what it looks like when some bitch in a gay SUV decided to get frisky with a bumble bee. It was a tiny bit dinged before, but come on! Bitch just drove off like I wouldn't notice.
