  1. Welcome back Amir. Can't wait to see what you do with this 510 over the next few years. Hopefully I'll make some more of the Oldschool meets when my Cafe Racer is done next year
  2. That thing looks great! I miss my B310 hatch. First car I ever owned, it was a fun piece of crap. I think that grill is an '80? '81 said "Datsun" instead of 'D' iirc. Or I could be backwards.
  3. You can't even tell I hadn't washed it in two weeks. Tomei 350Z by Matt Yates, on Flickr
  4. I have a few times. I liked them, they got stuff to me pretty quick.
  5. And to think, whoever did this was the sperm who won. I'm betting the better half of them ran down their moms leg.
  6. Not if you have an '03-'07 :poke: But you can always dream of the horsepowers!
  7. Z1 Motorsports ;) So worth it! We did initial testing on my car, and found another 10whp on a hot rainy day. The filters are a one off design, and integrate velocity stacks into the base.
  8. Nice! looks like a pretty good start to a project.
  9. Rando oic of some shenanigans it took me to on my birthday. _DSC3992 by Matt Yates, on Flickr
  10. Installed our long tube cold air intakes, now at 305whp. Little bit of Gold because I'm a ricer and car about intake temps. Took it out on the track last december for some shenanigans. We retired some BC Racing BR type coilovers from a coworkers Turbo G35 before Global Time Attack, opting for the new Digressive Piston BC coilovers. Got 3rd place in his class. Random shot as we were creeping out to ZDAYZ in the mountains with the race cars.
  11. I'm a little bored so In an effort to try and inject myself back into Datsun's, I bring you.....my daily driver 3shittyZee. SO metal picked this up last labor day. I have a 100 mile commute, so I decided that the most reliable thing I could enjoy would be a 350Z. I hate new cars, and I'm really picky since I've always enjoyed my Datsuns, but having access to almost any aftermarket and OE part available at work, I opted to go ahead and search one out since my JCW Mini was getting annoying. Picked up my '07 HR from some dealer east of Atlanta. It's not much to see, and wasn't too quick but it's comfortable, reliable, and fun as hell. I told myself I was just gonna leave it alone and drive it, but that didn't last long. Got a deal on a set of double staggered Enkei RPF1's so I couldn't help myself. Within a few weeks these asshats at work convinced me to invest in a Tomei Titanium exhaust. Greatest investment ever. Picked up 32whp after tuning and made 292 on stock intakes.
  12. We all know that the powers that are truly in control of this country won't allow that. They'll kill or pay off anyone that steps in their way. It's all about power and their pockets.
  13. That's a really nice piece. Great price too
  14. They make a special tool for that. I believe the one below will work. Never tried to use anything else, just happened to have one of these laying around that my dad gave me years back. https://www.amazon.com/Lisle-13250-Pressure-Switch-Socket/dp/B0002SR2RY
  15. Why would you put a perfectly good racecar in the woods to rot?
  16. I'm glad I took a year off of Ratsun. I missed all the AL bullshit.
  17. I'll pester him for more ;) He's currently working on an L28 swapped 510 that's going to hopefully be finished for chump car next year. Hopefully I'll find time to go help him soon,
  18. Took this picture at Zdayz of a single turbo RB 240Z taking off during the exhaust competition. Zdayz S30Z by Matt Yates, on Flickr
  19. Because MOT doesn't update his build thread enough...
  20. Weird. My LZ22 didn't ping with a 9.5:1 CR, 275 cam, built big valve ported A87 peanut head, 93 octane and all of the trimmings. Made 105whp on a weber 32/36 a few years back in the heat of summer.
