Not yet. I ended up going to my sisters Fresno State graduation on Saturday. That was my only free day :( I'm going to try and make it out there on Sunday.

Wiper motor and switch - '79 620

Do you have a picture of your switch? Does the wiper switch have the short or long fiber optic cable? I have a few switches but I want to make sure the right knob goes with the right switch. -

Welcome. You'll probably want to shorten some stock 510 struts instead if you plan on running 13's. I think the zx calipers might hit/rub with 13's.

:) ^^^^ never had the need to since getting into dattos. I'm putting together a 4 door for my mom to drive around town. The car used to be slammed. I need to raise the rear. Fronts been raised already. I should start a build thread.

I have one head bolt that won't come out! Looks like it's backed out all the way but it just keeps spinning. Won't separate from the head. WTF! Any suggestions?

Took the head off. It's stuck in the head :/ . What size chase is required for the head bolt holes?

the tap is m10 by 1.5 check the threads on the block you may have to put a new insert you can get the insert at any ace hardware do not use helicoil
to tap the hole for the insert use 9/16-12 tap they will help you with the drill and the tap about $20.0 for the drill tap and new insert need more help let me know you can make a tap guide to be sure the tap will go straight

Thanks for the info. The holes in the block are ok. I just want to use a chase to clean them out. The bolt was stuck in the head due to a buildup of crap on it. I got it out.

Post it up on craigslist. Never hurts to try.

Measure the front shaft of your driveline(assuming you have a 2 piece). Next time you hit the yards, grab a front shaft with carrier bearing from a 620 that is approx 4" shorter than your stock one. This way you don't have to pay someone to shorten your stock one. I just can't remember which truck I pulled mine from. King cab and regular cab could be different. I want to say around 3-4 inches. If your familiar with 521's , you can kinda see where the original spot is supposed to be.
