It houses his collection and the Emirates National Auto Museum but its functional, he actually uses the cars in there regularly. the museum is like 30 miles outside of Abu Dhabi. this guy also holds the world record for largest camper ever built. I have always wanted to go to the Emirates.

apparently that guys name is Hamad bin Hamdan Al Nahyan. hes a member of the Abu Dhabi royal family. He bought 7 brand new 500sel Mercedes, one for each day of the week. he then went on to have them all painted a different color of the rainbow with matching interiors, and a gun rack mounted under the trunk that held 3 color matched M16s. 6 are solid colors, one is all the colors rainbowed from front to back. thats why they call him the rainbow Sheik.

I removed the rear deck panel. it was completely destroyed, I will have to make another one from particle board. everything underneath is beautiful though I really really wish my car was still this color. this is the paint under the window seal compared to the paint on the exterior.

a few more updates.... removed the sunroof, or as I have come to lovingly refer to the piece of shit as a "fun-roof" because restoring them is all different types of fun!!. found some rust on the lip so once I saw that, the sunroof came out. this car is damn near rust free and IT WILL STAY THAT WAY. so this is detinitely preventative maintenance. heres the tub removed from the car note: the first thing to come out is the actual roof panel, even before the Headliner. and the disassembled tub. this is why I call them Fun-roofs.

Yeah, they are very legit. You make an account and submit a parts request for what you need. the parts have to show in their system though, if it doesnt show, nobody in their network has it. once you submit the request someone checks the actual availability and stock, and then emails you back within a few days with an invoice and shipping cost. I paid and then it was sent! a little mix up occurred, they just addressed it to my name, city and zipcode. so It went to my local PO, then all the way back to Japan, to be readdressed and sent back. but they only charged me for shipping once. but thanks a whole bunch for finding this website for me. it saved my arse.

any plans to bring it to the US?, I think you would be the only one over here with a true 910 hardtop.

no they dont, call them, they wont even be willing to help you, I even talked to the manager. Courtesy was the first place I called, also the 5th, 9th , and 14th not one single nissan dealer in the entire united states could get this part, and I called between all 4 corners.

DAWA didnt even actually order this for me. But he did find it for me. And the company Amayama Trading came through!!! but today I finally got my Unobtanium. the NEW yes I said NEW not NOS but NEW, rear window seal from Japan, not Thailand, not, Australia, a real Nissan rear seal part #79710-W1000 the manufacture date is 09/06/24

they took like 4-5 days to get back to me, I was also not impressed, I was impressed by how many different weather seals they had. I ended up finding my piece from Amayama trading co. just enter the part number. I should be picking it up tomorrow from the post office since my postman is a total moron and doesnt understand that in order to leave a "sorry we missed you" slip, YOU ACTUALLY NEED TO KNOCK!!!. which he didnt, I was sitting right next to the mail slot. when I went to pick up the mail 15 minutes later, the slip is on my floor dated that day. I am rather sore over this as the seal had to go BACK to Japan once already because the Japanese warehouse addressed it to just my name city and zip code, no address.
