  1. That Starion is sick! Looked like a good time.
  2. Not really. Swap out those fuctup wheels for some 19" staggered Work XD-9's with some flat lip, gunmetal, and I'd rock the crap out of that FD. -Brian
  3. Oh most definitely, but there's something special about catching a slip...... Kinda makes you sit there and wonder, "did anyone else just see that?" And with DVR, u can't prompty go back and play it again!
  4. ok, maybe it was more the doods responsible for the TV edit, but who cares. i saw'd boobage. Ms. Malin Akerman (freakshow's wife) owns a really cute left breast. Total edit miss. Don't cha love surprises like that? -B
  5. Yes, Sept 30 is the last Cruise-in for the season. I'll be there next week. Should be bad ass. -Brian
  6. I draw the line at "freezing." The second or third time we were at Ava's I poured out a drink I was working on and it FRIKKIN FROZE! Haha! -B

  8. First truck had these: Then I picked up these: If I had followed thru w/ the original plans (RX7 frontend/Z32 rear) I'd be running them today, but plans changed and I didn't go 5-lug. Oh well. Someday maybe. -Brian

I dunnu what its out of, but my 521 has one on the drivers side. -Brian
  11. So first off, big THANK YOU to MKlotz. What sure what road I would have went down w/o him stepping in and turning down my spindles: This is a side-by-side if the Hardbody spindles (left) compared to the Mustang II 2" drop spindles. Really close in profile except for about .030" that needed to be spun down so that the D21 bearings could be installed. Went this route because I'm thinking more towards the future. With a Mustang II setup, brake options and wheel options will be limitless when funds become available. Here's a couple of picks of a 75% complete mock up. I still have some geometry to work on (static and dynamic) so the design will change slightly. Camber, caster and track width are all fully adjustable. Also, I've decided that my SSR's won't quite work the best for what i'm trying to accomplish. Its basically an offset issue and how its affecting the steering and clearance. I'm back to using these again: 15x7 instead of my 15x8 SSR's. This doesn't mean that the SSR's are for sale so don't ask. :-) -Brian

I think I'm taking a different perspective on this. I'd give my left pinky finger willingly to own one of these heads. Maybe even both pinky fingers! The OS Giken twin cam represents a turn in history. Its also a testament to the innovation and skill of these car enthusiasts who wanted more and had the follow-thru to make it real. The LZ is, in a word, awesome. Fuckthat "put it in a showcase" stuff. I'd give it justice. Mount that bastid on a fresh bottom end and stuff the works in a worthy shell. DRIVE IT! Thats what it was made for. Not talking as a DD, but special events - yes. Flex it every now and again - hells yes. This is probably our Holy Grail. Our arch of the convenant. Our Unicorn. -Brian
  13. I've known guys to go to Bearing Service off of NW Everett. I sent a block there that's now in DISLEXIC's 510. He's seems to like it. ;-) The turn around time was still pretty long though. Pretty sure that's common w/ majority of the machine shops. I also used a place off of NE Glisan and 33rd (or 36th?). Can't remember the name, but they did an awesome job on my cyl head. -Brian
  14. nope and nope. Hahahaha! I'll admit it. I'm one of the slowest f@*Kers to ever build a car......or truck. Part of it is funds right now. I don't have any. It WILL get done tho. I may be slow, but i'm no fuggin quiter. -Brian
  15. "Make up your damn mind and hurry the f@#k up!" hahahahahaha!
  16. Was this the truck in Beaverton? If it was, good catch. I was hoping it wasn't going to go to scrap. I have a 5spd if you are in the market. Uninstalled and ready to take. Lemme know. It was in my 521 when I had a L16 in it. -Brian
  17. ^^^ yea. what he said. I've never seen this rig around. Very nice! Look forward to seeing it in person one day. Think you'll join one of our get-togethers soon? -Brian
  18. Its sad, but death is a part of life. No shame in shedding tears. She was a member of the family and loosing her will hurt. We're here for you boss. -Brian
  19. They won't know. Its at PIR. I think you take the Delta Park exit off of I5 and follow the signs. Hard to miss. Should have LOTS of old cars filing in. -Brian
  20. Ok. It wasn't the "Corvette looking thing." I still see those around and actually thought they were pretty cool when I was growing up. It was a coupe. Kinda the same shape and style of a Vega. I saw that Art Morrison sells a replacement rack for the Opel (along with all the other populars) so I now feel luck to have yanked this one before someone else did.
  21. Much mahalos cuz! Hopefully I start welding up some control arms this week. That's wen the real fun can begin. Shootz! Brian
  22. Damn dood! U work fast. What are your plans for the brakes on thise beast? -Brian
