    hello

Welcome! Very nice truck. Thanks to some of the members here, there are disc brake options out there for front and rear. "Search" tool will yield lots of valuable info. Good choice on the bumperettes, but they will be difficult to find. :) -B
  6. Gonna have Xcessive alter (haha) the one that come with the first SR.
  7. No, not immediately. We'll see how crazy this motor turns out to be. I gotta take my intake manifold to Xcessive and have them re-do the TB flange for the Q45 unit. The Mad Scientist recommends me upgrading to 850cc injectors to accommodate the immense amount of airflow that TB will inhale at WOT. :) -B
  8. Updates: 5/8" steel caliper bracket - Done! Xcessive Manufacturing did an awesome job. Assembled shots: Tight fit........... And the best shot of all............ Also managed to shorten my "temp" driveline. Its a wagon piece so its only temp. Not strong enough to survive full boost once the motor is broken in. Then again, the rear-end will probably also blow up, but oh well.... -Brian
  9. I'm game. Time and place? Wednesday?
  10. Nice! Is it just me, or would this thing look killer with a narrowed rear and some FAT wheels/tires?
  11. DAMN! I would trade my truck, my dime, both my SR's and my Integra for that Coupe! Fuggin cherreh!
  12. For gods-sake man, cover her up. That would be WAY too painful to look at. Now that pics are up, I'm REALLY glad you made it thru that one. I just bumped "Shoulder belts" a little higher on the project list. -Brian
  13. You walked away. We are all thankful for that. Sux that the truck was totalled, but better the truck then you boss. -Brian
  14. I did promise didn't I. Well, pics are pics (even if they're schitty cell pics.) This is how she'll stand: Like I said, schitty pic. I had the whole truck on the ground, but there wasn't enuff room in the shop to take a good pic. Looked good tho. After standing around it for a few mins I put it back up in the air and started in on the brake situation. These were only mounted on plexi-glass for position. The real ones are being machined out of 5/8" steel at Xcessive Mfg right now. -Brian
  15. I'm freakin bored, but its freakin cold. Oh well.
  16. wth dood??!!?!?! haha. well, might be out there Saturday too if the weather holds. This is not really the new spot. I'm not trying to take away from the Saturday night meets (see other thread for P-town. WOOOOT!). Just trying to throw something out there for fridays while the weather is good. Cops don't really seem to mind much. -B

  18. Nice. I was wondering when these would pop up again. Good luck with the sale. Oh and believe they're 7in wide. -Brian
  19. Cruise in. Cruise out. Have some desert. Whatever. Just bring a chair and kick back. -Brian
  20. Similar thing happened to me only it was caused by a gas attendant that hadn't put my cap back on correctly (Can't pump your own in Oregon.) I was taking a clover leaf offramp doin about 45mph and the rear just suddenly came around. Scarey as fuk. Luckily there wasn't anyone on my tail. It slid 180 and I was facing the wrong way down the off ramp. A-hole attendant. I don't leave the gas station w/o checking my cap now. -B
  21. Maroon? http://community.ratsun.net/topic/20740-maroon-510-crash Yup. Cali brother. Sad news. -B
  22. Wow! Nice! One of the nicest i've seen yet. First time seeing overriders on the bumpers too. Great work on the roof rack. You're probably going to get many requests to have these built now. Welcome to the boards. -Brian
  23. Thanx Steve. The steering parts were sourced from Speedway and eBay.
  24. Found out this week that, in the year and half that truck has been in the shop, i lost the sleeve bearing for my brake pedal. Don't remember when i took all that stuff apart. Couldn't find it in any bolt boxes/trays on/near/in the truck. Just gone. Fuct right? Nope. 5mins ago I yanked one from a pedal assy i have in the garage at home. This is why whenever I find a 521 in the j/y I always come out with a good bit of stuff. What "hoarding" act saved you? -B
