finally got it out with much trouble on the last screw, i took out the phillips head/ 11mm screws out with ease but there is a phillips screw that goes through the dash frame through the gauges and held the flasher for my turn signals, it was seized in there, finally got it out and it will not be going back in, its funny everyone says the hardest part is removing the cig lighter but that was probably the easiest part for me, and will be even easier next time cause its getting the old anti-seize when it goes back in, thanks again for your help
I have a 77 620 and I need help getting the gauge bezel off so I can install my tach!! I have removed the radio, the heater controls, the wishiled wiper knob, the cig lighter, and the screws in each gauge hole, what else is holding it in? i cant find anything, it seems like something is holding it right below the spedeometer, anyone know? i dont want to go pulling on anything because i dont have a replacement if i break it, thanks

take a look at this, you should get a set of mikunis or weber sidedrafts if you dont already have them, that will maximize your cam potential
i need one of the little chrome accent pieces that are on the air vents, there should be one for the drivers side and for the passenger side. maybe by some chance you have a dash that is mint, i would love to have that as well
anyone have any 620 parts they dont want, ill take free or cheap, i will pay shipping, im always needing something, and if i already have it maybe yours is better than mine, thanks, stuff like knobs, trim pieces, hubcaps, emblems, i need one chrome ring for my grille, etc. etc.
can someone identify these wires, they are on my 77 620, i have looked on the wiring diagram and can only find red and black wires that go to things like the headlights or cig lighter, the only electrical component on the truck that doesnt works is the reverse switch, could that be where these wires go? the wires come out of the harness down by the starter, they also have a white tag on them with numbers and stuff
i want a hitachi radio knob, and the little clip that you push the sunvisor into, drivers side if that makes a difference, and that stock hubcap if its in good condition, pm me and let me know a price
its my oil pressure switch, its bad, new one is 6 bucks, gonna replace it shortly, and then my charging system, going to get my alternator tested and my voltage regulator, ive got some new batteries around here (my brother works at a battery factory) im gonna put in a new battery as well. thanks guys, now i know :)
thats bullshit, did you report him to ebay? if he didnt state in his auction his right to end the auction early then he should have to sell it to ya, call em and give em hell
wow!!1 thats looking awesome, the louvers are a nice touch, that is super unique, i like the orange rear end also, and im definitely digging the taillights, where did you find those at?
i am thrilled to know you were amused, im also thrilled that someone who is supposedly 5 years older than me has a muturity level of someone who is 5 years younger than me!!!:D:D
i never claimed to be a pro, in other vehicles i have been in there was some trick to resetting the oil change light, when two lights of the same color come on right beside each other in a row that says oil-chg, one who had never fucked with that vehicle before might get curious and maybe, just maybe they might ask someone who knows, dont ya think?
not to mention i am trying to learn or i wouldnt have asked the question  geeze dude do you want me to bow down to you because you know what chg stands for? come on man this is ratsun cut the shit
i wont argue with you about the spelling and yes this is the web but, grammar is taught so people can understand you and if you cant be understood then you might as well be retarted, i can rebuild a carb, change a headgasket or what have you, i rebuilt both my dirtbikes when i was 14, and 5 years of learning is a big difference, think about it its like the difference between a 10th grader and a 5th grader, ive owned my datsun for like what 2.5 maybe 3 months, sorry i havent completely rebuilt it, i guess i will never ever be as good as you :fu::fu::fu:
ok so its not a "change" light, why does it say chg? it was my best guess that the oil light alone would come on if there was a lack of oil or oil pressure, then both lights would light up if it was 3000 miles or 5000 or whatever it was set for, cut me a break guys i havent been on this earth long enough to know that, and the first vehicle i ever owned was a 2004 chevrolet silverado, which hasnt seen much pavement since i got my 620, its too hard to beat the style and the gas mileage of a good ol 620
ok well seeing as the truck was made 13 years before i was born and then another 18 years untill i owned it there wasnt exactly AN owners manual, and if someone would learn proper grammar (an not and) i wouldnt have gotten confused, and if it isnt an oil change light then why does it say oil-chg, i dont think chg stands for pressure or sensor, my god it has an egr timer why wouldnt it have an oil timer, there isnt much of a difference
