bump i need to get my truck on the road!!!!

i agree 100% but i cant get those damn bolts off that are on the exhaust manifold, i was gonna do it one day but i said the hell with it, i have a new motor waiting to go in that already has that shit removed but im waiting to put the new motoe in until i can afford to rebuild my mikunis and get a sloppy cam

no i cant get it below 3000, i cant tune it anymore tonight i live right beside an old widow and i dont want to piss her off, im running straight header, as far as all of the linkage i put it back exactly how it was before i took it off the truck, both throttle paltes are closed on startup, one of them is probably partially open because i set the idle screw, on startup maybe one of them is opening up alot? what could cause that? i cant get the float to fill up to the dot, the gasket for the float window is leaking, brand new junk, didnt leak a bit with the old gasket, anyways i tightened up the window srews hoping to get it to seal, and took off the distributor and cranked it over for a few seconds and i still cant get the float to fill up fully, what the?

here it is all together and on the truck, look at the 2 lines on the left side of the carb, one is blocked off and one is spliced, could i have gotten these mixed up, what is their purpose anyways

rebuilt my carb finally, it needed it bad, it fires right up now but idels super high, im talking 3100 rpm, anyways i guess i have some tuning to do

could it have something to do with the fast idle? i dont know where to start with adjusting the fast idle

just spent the last 5 hours rebuilding my hitachi carb for my 620, truck starts right up then idles at about 3100 rpm, i have adjusted the idle needle according to the directions, seat lightly then 2 to 2.5 turns outward, what the hell is wrong with it? i adjusted the float also, the other adjustment screw that controls the throttle blades i adjusted when i had the carb off, i turned it to where the throttle blade was barely opened, please help

thanks man!!!! now i know!!! the parts house lists it as pl620 instead of hl, wierd, the dealer got confused the other day as well, idiots still havent called me back

shipping on that!!!! wow that would be pricey, if i still lived in muncie i would be there tomorrow!

thjats kind of what i was thinking and if thats true thats cool because i have seen 620's with mirrors like mine, maybe they are from the same dealer!!!

the brackets i have are welded to my old bumper, if you want i will try and cut them off with a torch, one of them is straight and the other one is bent but can be fixed, they are both rusty, just let me know

hey if i have the brackets you need i will combine the shipping with the clock to save some dough, i am expecting the clock tomorrow

are you talking about the brackets that bolt to the bumper and the bolt to the frame? if so i think i have mine off my old bumper, or are you talking about the bumpers that are 2 piece chrome like sanitys? if they are the stock 620 bumper brackets you can have mine:)
