DAMN that thing is Purrrrrty!

I find it easier to removew the hole assembly for core replacement. They are small and put in the right way, to make for easy removal! I have heard of guys replacing the whole assembly with one out of another datsun cause they are all simmilar in size and setup! Hope this helps!

They are fairly simple to remove. The whole assembly comes out in no time. The real question is as listed above, is it leaking? There is a valve on the pass side that opens and shuts the water flow to the core(for summer) and the hoses connecting it, the core and thru the firewall to the engine. They are often the culprit and can be easily rebuilt, there is even a thread about it on here somewhere...
