IMO if you know it's got over ~160 Get a timing kit, gasket it, and get the head machined. If you bore the cylinders just email the service department and they will send you the pistons you need.

Took the cam and rocker arms off the head. Just unbolted the towers and pulled it as one piece. I guess that's the right way :] I guess I'll go install my old Sanyo tapedeck. Gotta make a faceplate to hold in the chopped center console

Taking head to the shop in the morning. Or maybe in an hour so I can pick it up in the morning. Thinking about pulling everything off the fender wells so I can scrub and paint the engine bay. I got some jet black equipment enamel. Floors and dash are carpeted and it made a huge difference.

Do this and make copies! They made a vinyl one as a dealer option I think. Like 3 pieces sewn together with some stretchy loops to go over the bed hooks.

Dash is now carpeted. And I love it. Too bad my new stereo got stolen. Tape deck doesn't fit right siince I hacked up the console for a modern stereo.

I agree. Something is so wrong about people that leave nice things out to get knicked.

That shit was locked in my shop. 1. Someone crawled through the side of the rolling door, but They would have stolen more than the stereo. Or 2. Someone walked up to teh shop while I was at the store/house getting something and they grabbed it.

So I got the driver side floor carpeted.Trans cover installed. Shift boot and knob. Got half the dash carpeted and ran out of glue. Door panels and handles are on. Need to find some cotter pins for window cranks and screws for handle bezel. Oh yeah... Someone stole my fucking stereo out of the center console sitting in my shop. And nothing else is missing. Checked 4 times then brought a friend to help. fucking crack heads. Fucking fuck.
