Haha if only i really did have unlimited funds... the things i could accomplish! haha ive seen a few v8 swapped e30s, just like when it comes down to a 510 everyone says it wont work, to heavy, wont handle etc, but if you talk to the guys that actually have done it i guess it works out pretty good in the end, i actually got the car off a friend who blew up the origanal crappy 4 banger and started the swap, he went off to college so... now i have it!

I just have a 100 dollar auto darkening, there so nice.... i learned how to weld with one and it really spoiled me, batteries died and had to use a flip down once..... its so hard going back. Can you really call welding without a mask welding.... you can only get so far before you have to look again!

Sold the 69 to Jeff "thegooner" he seems to be quite motivated and wants to keep it on the road! hopefully he will start a build thread or something... Time to get going on some other projects now!

I like them, everyones already trial and errored the tuning, fab a mani, run a throttle cable, as easy as that! As for fuel effiency, i get 22 out of my boosted l20b.. id imagine you can get better minus the boost

Its not that no ones done it or that its impossible, with fab skills and some money its do able, just do TONS of research, i learned that the hard way, dont go trying to re-invent the wheel so to speak, If you go suck through CARBON SEAL is a must... I want to add that for the record.. with a suck through setup, heat is not a problem in your intake air, icing in the carb and intake is actually a bigger problem.... EDIT and dont cheap out on shitty parts... cheap ebay shit comes back to bite you... trust me

if you want the brass to pop more pull the radiator out and get a wire wheel, put it in a drill and go to town

I have a few chunks of braided line, i may just go get the right fittings to run those through the engine bay.. becasue yes it is the drivers side front that keeps going, but its as far away as possible from any heat source, i though it was werid becasue my engine doesnt see over 175 degrees, but when i think about it all three times have happened from letting my car sit still running for an extended period of time... braided lines it is!

Fucking air lines... Blew another front line during my photoshoot tonight, whole roll of electrical tape should get me home.. This stuffs supposed to be rated at 190 degrees and 140 psi, appearently they suck though.. Anyone know of anything better I could try??

That sounds interesting, but I'd be scared to fuck it up real bad without a re spray in the near future!! Shortened the rack a total of 5 inches, looking so much better and started sanding it down, unfortunately I have to replace the slats to get back to a natural color!

hmmm the fronts fine... its the seam in the back... i was planning on cutting slits into and folding it over, giving about 3/4s of an inch more travel... but i guess ill just have to live with it, i dont wanna weaken anything structurally, and i dont want to create more work for myself... guess ill spend that time hunting down and replacing rear rockers and a front fender!

i dont like the new color either! i gotta sand it all down and redo it, with a natural wood stain again, shorters gunna happen, in fact ill go do that right now, and bamboo would be awesome, where do you even get bamboo from? Do you think a wood frame/basket, or silver metal frame basket?

Thats where im at right now... just one more full inch and id be satisfied, what did you cut that messed it up? cause i think i could do it.... but id be making a cut or two haha i like the fitment right now though, technically i could a half inch drop with some different tires... meybe i should do that first since when im aired out my exhaust is already only 3/4 of an inch off the ground... another full inch would set my crossmember on the ground though Thats what im thinking two, definately shorter and if i can a little lower, a bamboo rack would be pretty sweet, im still debating on the whole basket thing, im gunna do it but i cant decide if i should go metal, or keep it classy and put my wood working skills to the test hahaha who knows meybe if i get some different ones this winter we can do a part trade on some powder work! ;)

I take that back, the "new" grill is pictured in the middle picture! And new tires are on my list... those narrow ugly things need to go, theyll still be a little stretch but not as much and not as tall either

I "acquired" a new front grill, not pictured, it looks way better then my bent up one, also painted the bumpers, and tailight trim as well as replace my busted out taillight, looks soooo much better, interior is almost complete, i mounted a fire extinguisher today on the passenger side floor/kicker panel... slowly but surely, before you know it ill be replacing body panels and fixing rust! Still playing with the whole rack thing, dont like the color and still trying to make it look better, we shall see what happens with that The thought about lower crossed my mind today, i had to tell myself no, not worth it..... for now!
