  5. mmhmm! when i ran this l20 before it had pretty good power and lots of torque, so it should be interesting to see what happens!
  6. Well the deal with the Ka fell through since this motor was hitting so many snags, so im back to running the l20b! I ordered new pistons since the one broke, started port matching my intake and exhaust (didnt really take the time to do this on the l16), i got the head all re-assembled just need to adjust the valves, and i picked up a bigger turbo! it kinda sucks cause it needs to be rebuilt, put that kit in the mail, but i figure it was free, and the td04 was much to small for that l16, drove me crazy how easy it boosted... Now that its going back in my car, i must say im pretty excited to see how it does! ported head, fully balanced bottem end, fresh motor this time, lightened fly wheel, bigger turbo, gunna hopefully actually plumb in an intercooler since its all apart anyway, should make some good power, hopefully there will be a noticeable difference from the l16!

I never ran that "shit sandwich" cause the car is still sitting on a rotisserie, why the spacers were doubled up in the front i couldnt tell ya, cause your right its pretty clear in the pic, but i can tell you that i only own 4 spacers, all of which are 30mm and i need said spacers one on each corner of the car to clear suspension. Again, thanks for trying to make me look retarded, but im not a liar and your argument sucks, i dont even know why im arguing with you anymore You have a wonderful day, it was talkin with ya Edit: shit sorry, 31.75 mm spacer

  9. most definately just one spacer, that picture your looking at there is over a year old, and looking at it it almost does look like stacked spacers, for the record they measure exactly an inch and a quarter = 31.75mm sorry but im not retarded i know what i bought And by personal attack i was refering to the fact you went out of your way to find a picture of my project car, and post about my spacers after i made a simple comment about how good different wheels would look on someone elses car?? a bit confused And good for you, im glad you were able to get a good deal on wheels that someone else had mounted, as far as skinny wheels im gunna run 9.5s with my 30 mm spacers until I CAN afford nice 3 piece 3000$ wheels, if i like these wheels fitment most likely 17x11 in the back and 17x10 in the front. Thanks for trying to make me look retarded, but trust me i know whats on my car 10x better then anything you can try and point out in a picture

And there 30mm to be exact, you have a problem with spacers? when i can afford 3000$ wheels to fill the flares "properly" dont worry youll be the first to know about it
  11. the break in the rings just kinda came apart as i pulled each ring off The break in the skirt, i noticed a hairline crack and just barely pushed on it and it broke off Then a pic of the head all cleaned up and some blood

  14. i guess thats sorta what the problem was ;) Sorry i couldnt help more, its hard workin on somethin in the dark, and if i didnt leave me house in a hurry i would have grabbed a fricken meter, wasnt a lot i could do without that!

Well the motor would have been assmebled today if i didnt run into another snag, two snags actually, one i noticed as i was pulling the rings off the pistons that one was cracked, so thats no good and two, if you guys didnt already no this.... when using a bench grinder and a wire wheel... hold on to that part super tight... cause when you dont you end up like me with a broken nose and a bloody shop to clean up!
  16. Those mags look good, imo some 16x10s in the back and 16x9s in the front would fill those flares real nice! haha
  17. im gunna have to disagree with you guys here... T bolts while they work good, are big, bulky, break often, and suck to tighten/loosen, on something like holding the carb couplers i like the hose clamps better as long as there new they will tighten plenty and are way less bulky then the t bolts ( not to say t bolts dont have there place, like intercooler couplers) VIntage it sucks your having all these problems with the carbs, i guess i was lucky with mine, a little tuning and bam rocked em til the motor blew, even with boost lol

  19. 3rd pic down is the l16 coming out, origanlly yes i was going to put the l20 in, but at the moment im in the process of trading the l20 and the turbo setup for a ka24de swap... i love the setup, but for the number of miles i was putting on the car in a week the ka is just the more logical choice, and itll have the same if not more power Those tires are what came on it, they look absoulutely retarded and no they dont need that much stretch to fit
