obviously its not all assembled, but most all the parts are there, no exhaust manifold though or drivers side motor mount. Big box of parts that came off it

Both motors are no good, l16 has a broken piston and ka has a broken rod, other then that let me know if you need any parts off them! there basically complete l16- 40$ ka24e- 40$ Also have an automatic tranny for a ka, 120k on it, torch converter and flexplate as well, 50$ Edit and im in stanwood wa 3606313898

69s up and running! i had to raise the front up, with the smaller wheels and tires it was pretty much literally dragging crossmember, it doesnt look half bad with the silver 14s though!

The ONLY thing i regret about this car, is the amount of bondo on it, its everywhere, i found a spot that was 3/8s of an inch thick, in the trunk there was a fist sized hole behind the battery tray that had just been filled with bondo lol but at this point its whatever

haha it was and it wasnt. the picture is a little deceiving, the rust was still there and the paint was still all messed up, but yeah it was pretty clean

i thought about painting them a long time ago, and after seeing rattle canned wheels decided against it, ive thought about having them powdercoated... but i dunno what color, bright and flashy? or just somethings thats not so dull as grey?

New oil with the new motor, hopefully it hasnt gotten that bad just yet, ill drain a little and smell it, or just pull the valve cover and smell it

If i cause a quick stall, it wont bang, i dont know about start back up, and if its warm and i kill it, bang, start, kill it generally bang. Alright, its easy enough to pull the carbs off, ill check into that stuff tomorrow, imo the bang and the no starting is definately 100% excess fuel, and the two are most likely related

It started happening more and more frequently towards the end of the l16s life.... ill have to grab a air flow meter and check the balance

Started working the motor more and more... its pretty damn quick, a lot more lag with the bigger turbo, but a lot more pull once it gets there! So far... loving the r1 carbed l20b turbo lol

Lets say i go out for a drive, car gets fully heated up and ill just say 15 minutes. You then stop, turn off the car, 75% chance it will let off a loud bang, and if you start it again shortly there after no problems. now lets say i stop, turn off, bang, go into the store for say 10 minutes, come back out.... cranking and cranking and cranking and cranking until finally it coughs and sputters and i have to feather the gas and oh fires up with a big grey/black smoke cloud... I believe gas is leaking down into the cylinders for whatever reason after it gets shut off and is flooding it, what would cause this? Any other thoughts?? According to my wideband im not rich at an idle, if anything im a bit lean on idle and on downshift/decel.

i was bored waiting for my head gasket to come, and the blue chipped up look was driving me nuts, so i sand blasted it and painted it with transparent yellow glass paint lol see how long that lasts! actaully, same stuff i did my head lights with! Oh trust me.. thats just my little roll around cart... you should see our benches! lol
