  1. Hmmm well I know my paint code sticker decal doesn't start with a 9. 100% positive it's a 5... I'll investigate a little more when I get to work in a few minutes.
  2. I'm pretty sure that's correct... There's red showing through my original green.
  3. Lol I emailed that dude, I'll let you know.
  4. Haha damn hooligan kids! No worries on the payment... We will figure it out.

Once again... Completely old news. Try searching. There are about 7 other threads on this.
  6. If you really want to do a swap like that, I would recommend swapping the chassis with someone who wont do the that.
  7. It's been up for a couple of days. I've never seen it driving around here. You should buy my SSRs :D
  8. Clean as perfect looking or clean as in no rust and complete?
  9. I haven't spoken to that family in a bit, but for $250 it's work an email. Thanks anyway on the decals, I figured it was a long shot.
  10. Oh man, I have some friends in Johannesburg... I wonder if they could look at it for me and see about parting it out. Thanks Jason!
  11. Ive never seen them get hot... And I've read many people relocate them to behind the dash or in the glovebox.
  12. I think mine says 58x. My sticker is all faded as well so it's hard to tell.
  13. Yeah if you switch to a finned valve cover you can run this type of cap. Or you could just grab an Elephant cap like everyone else haha. I'd appreciate to find some NOS stickers... Would be a great addition.
  14. No, I didn't even know there were part numbers for decals... I've never seen them not installed. The cap I have is for roadsters and 68/69 valve covers. It's the quarter twist and not the plastic screw in... Just so you're aware.
  15. Lol around the house it's shorts...
  16. Is this a for sale ad? If so I would suggest a list of things youre selling and they would require prices... I would also highly encourage some pictures.
  17. Do you see Nana often? I have a FSM for him... I can send that along too.
  18. Nope, cap was a direct swap out. In fact I bet there would be less chance of blow by based on the fact that the cork packing was a bit thicker than the urethane gasket on the old cap. New cap was a much tighter fitting piece. I can go snap a closer pic if youre interested in the cap... it looks good. Damn... No more Jesus :bye: All thats really left in the bay (besides the obvious motor build): 1. Wire tuck 2. Reroute the fuel lines 3. Relocate the coil 4. Clean the horn mounting areas and reinstall horns (I have to buy new hardware to put them together, but they are all painted and awaiting assembly)
  19. Psh... you have so much room in those pants, its like youre swimming in them  They are way too loose for my liking, but thats just me. But to really be on topic... Glad to see you made something of this. Your project finished up a lot quicker than I would have been able to complete it if I bought it instead of you. I have a plan for something else though ^_^ Engine looks and sounds great!
  20. I also picked up a new radiator cap to replace to crusty peeling stock one and grabbed a new oil cap as well:
  21. Was a smooth install. To give a quick summation to what the pictures are saying... I bought a roadster overflow, cut off one of the brackets, made a new bracket, had it coated to match the valve cover, used to stock overflow hose and cut it to length, used the extra for the overflow port on the tank, mounted it to the bolt I took a picture of using the bracket I made, and screwed on a new cap. I like the way its mounted but would prefer that it sits a little closer to the radiator support. I think Im going to bend up a wire-frame holder for it and use that instead of the brackets on the rear. Just a thought though. For the amount of money I put into this project, Im extremely happy.
