I k ow someone who currently makes roof racks like this and it's a little over $400 for a sedan sized rack. I bet it would be a bit cheaper for only a truck cab sized one. if people are really interested I could call him and see what he thinks. He doesn't have a 52x so he would need someone local to him to take some measurents. Datgurl you really should keep this updated regularly. It's a sweet truck and Im sure it's going to turn out awesome.

Full fenders would be cool... I know guys that would kill for a fresh pair of 68/69 fenders.

So I'm trying to import vectors into SW and I'm running into an issue. Im using the option to import Adobe Illustrator files into SW, but since the computer doesn't have it installed, it can't translate it. I have AI only on my home computer and I only have SW on my work computer. Is there any way to import vectors into SolidWorks that doesn't require a 3rd party translator. And if not, does somebody here have both installed that would mind importing a couple vectors for me and just saving them as sldprt?

Ive seen many people swap to the L20b and are very happy... I have no doubts that it will be quite a pleasure after tooling around in this crappy L16. Honestly though, I think my biggest problem is my carb so once I install these bike carbs, it will drastically improve my driving experience.

I wouldnt pay $150 for struts that you have to replace everything but the struts on.

Well if youre going to be welding on the coilover sleeves, then youre going to have to strip and paint them anyway... so I wouldnt worry about it. Just make sure theres no rot and such.

Thanks for the measurement. Ive got filter plans for mine and I need to make sure they are going to clear the BMC and hood. Glad you got it all worked out to get them running on the L20. I cant wait to run mine on an L20. My L16 auto just isnt cutting it anymore.

A just saw a plastic jumpseat at a garage sale if you want to throw one in the back... I asked make/model/price on the thing, but the wife didnt know. Its about a block from the house if youre interested.
