  1. Order received! Thanks or the business :)
  2. Yeah were having a couple colors made up.
  3. Sounds like a Jon move
  4. Glad to hear. Engine swaps can be fun and am no way against them... its just that you should make sure youre ready to undertake something like that. Everyone cames in here thinkging they are going to SR swap everything (myself included) and then people get in over their head. Then the project rusts away in some yard unfinished. Where around the Sound are you?
  5. Looks like a nice score. Youre going to have a hell of a time cramming in those newer engines. It can be done, but be prepared for a lot of time, money, and effort. Its a quite a project. I would start with basic stuff to get it back on the road and running (and stopping) in perfect shape. Then once youve had it awhile, you can make the choice if you think all that work is worth it. Id clean it up and enjoy it for awhile before it gets stuck in the garage for the months of swap time.
  6. Why would you rattle can it? Theres no way its going to come out better than what you have... terrible idea in my opinion.
  7. Hmmm well if those two pass, I can throw you some green if the mod works out. I can bring the cash when we do the 510 rear seat deal :D Yes, you should be able to reverse the motor and it should run fine. Motos should go either way. Hopefully the stop on the arm movement wont be affected by that, but I doubt it.
  8. You have more switches?- what would you like for one? Maybe I missed it, but are you actually going to run dual tanks in the 521? My dad had an older Chevy with two tanks and it was awesome as a young kid who would sometimes forget to fill up... or stretch out the gas until dad decide to fill up so I didnt have to pay
  9. Im just a lurker over there... also like to stalk the Classifieds :D Yeah, with my planned driving style of slow city driving, I figured a torquey engine with a higher-end ratio would suite me well. Im not a speed demon and as long as I can reach freeway speeds Im happy. I wonder if I can swap hears to create the ultimate 5.1 LSD :sneaky:
  10. Hmmm. I need to start learning my gearing and such... keeping this auto means I have to maximize each component of my driveline to make sure Im getting the most out of the setup. Ive already got a couple things planned, but the exact rear ratio has never been nailed down yet. Guess I better head over to The Realm and do some reading.
  11. Ah well then yeah thats perfect. What did that ratio come out of?
  12. Lots of goodies! Even though youre just stock piling parts and doing no work... once you do get to work, its going to be epic.
  13. 5.1? Thats some pretty crazy gearing... Are you swapping ratios or using them as is?
  14. Its overseas... and I think its ones of those "period" builds. Similar to the German themes with iron crosses and swastikas. Looks like a boot leg truck which Shiners are notorious cop haters. Heres another:
  15. Picture is right side up? I have smalls :D No womans cuts though, sorry.
  16. Oh shit, cavitating... thats bad, thats how you hunt submarines.
  17. Welcome to the site. Great first post... The car looks to be in fantastic shape. Make sure you take a look around and utilize the search function to help answer most of your questions. Im sure every question you have someone else had as well. Once again, welcome.
  18. He could be from Salem, Mass. which would explain his location... wouldnt explain his poor use of homophones though :poke: Which does not equal witch.
  19. Totally 90s. Looks like 90s Blazer/Jimmy rims. Ride looks clean. I would search the site for the Show Off Your Truck Wheels thread and look at all the posts. They usually post sizes and such on the rims. Find something youi like and then hit CL in your local area.
  20. I had a lot of friends where thats all they would do. They werent having unless they were so far gone... they were spending like $200 a week on Ecstasy. They could do that shit though because they were burnouts and lived at home on their parents dime. Their entire car wash or Taco Bell paycheck went to new pants with chains on it, Lisa Frank bracelets, or drugs.
  21. I know a guy on our side of Canada had a bunch made up, I think theres a guy in OZ making them regularly... you should be able to Google something like a muscle car/rat rod/hot rod shop. Those guys do tons of their own fabrication and should be able to hook you up with a nice and correctly shaped rocker.
