I vote some sort of stainless grille personally.

I talked to him last week. Doesnt run, interior is stripped and is fairly old and crusty, all chrome is painted, and he has no front chrome pieces (eyebrows, bumper, grille, etc). Not sure if either of the two engines run.

I second this what Wayno said. Shorting the posts can go very wrong... Id either buy some post caps, plasti-dip the tie down bar, or both.

An added benefit would be to get the taste of 521 out of your mouth. Shit sucks you lost the rat and Im sure whatever you do to the new one just wont be the same. I think working and driving the 411 will do you some good; get you back in the game. Then once you get your shit together and are back to mobbing in a Datsun, you can work on the new 521 with a fresh head.
