  1. They arent available here because the cars/engines stopped being made decades ago. Indonesia and Africa have parts because they are still being actively made and used (within 5 years). Your best bet is post WTB ads on the various Datsun forums or make contacts in those countries. All you can do. Local Nissans places do not care about Datsun parts... youd have to find a single parts guy that really likes his job to find anything of value.
  2. Weird. Ive seen him do a bunch of good deals here and on the Realm. Sorry to hear. Leave him crap feedback.
  3. Its currently for sale here in the NW.
  4. I just thought I might have struck gold since my oil caps must be rare too as they also keep all the oil from spraying out

I hope its still there. I thought about buying it at one point, as it has the sweetest patina and 70s themed paintjob.

Window channel felt was there (I dont remember condition), I bought the door panels a few months ago, I dont think there was a boot, I also bought all the switches, and cranks. I have some stuff available still so if you cant find what you need there shoot me a message, I might still have it.
  7. My pug is my kid... and she jumps in under her own power. Doesnt even need a carseat.
  8. Thats fine... you dont want to do all that in a 510, I dont want to do all that in a minivan.

Theres another one at Yank a Park in Poulsbo. What items are you looking for?- I removed some off that truck.
  10. If thats what youre into, then by all means. Everyone has their own tastes, but that shits not for me. Some cool features, but Im pretty happy with my 4dr 510. Car seats fit in the back fine, I can seat 6 with my bench, could be manual if I wanted, carried an engine once (not on a pallet though), and looks 1000x better than any minivan IMO. And I dont know what youre smoking, but each generation of Silhouette looks very similar to each generation of Previa. They just happened to keep making them so the current ones are now more stylish. No matter what you do to it, its still a minivan and personally "pimping it out" doesnt do it for me. If you love it and want to rock it, more power to ya. :)
  11. Thats not a rule anymore. Hasnt been for weeks.
  12. Youre going to want to post a WTB in the classifieds http://community.ratsun.net/classifieds/
  13. So you couldnt get your nut off, huh? Heres a picture of a cheater bar to help you:
  14. Yeah, good thing its almost instantly deactivated by water. I always keep a water bottle handle when working with the stuff.
  15. Basically it was started as a Japanese youth rebellion. Their society is so reserved over there that when the youth wanted to get back at society they modified their motorcycles and later cars to be as obnoxious as possible. They would form clubs which turned into gangs... in the late 70s Group 5 racing was replaced by whats known as Super Silhouette. Those cars would bend the chassis rules by fitting super large boxy fenders to increase track width. Cars because crazily shaped hence where the name 'Super Silhouette' came from. Just like any culture, the people wanted to be like the popular racecar drivers they saw on the track so people started copying the body styles. Once again, like any fandom theres always a culture that goes above and beyond emulating a trend. Since the motorcycle and car gangs were already about pushing the limits of styling, it makes sense that what we know call bosozoku styling would mesh well with their personalities.
  16. Its a small niche market... bright glaring purple doesnt mix with everything. HKS makes some great stuff, but I doubt youll see any of it turn "collectible" any time soon.
  17. Kyusha is sponsored. My statement was for him as he was raving about the radiator. Im familiar with the quality build, just unfamiliar with 510 fitment. A lot of companies say their items fit well, but there always seems to be some stupid issues... I was just interested in someone who had it currently installed in a 510 to see what they thought since its currently the most expensive radiator available for a 510. Granted both people that have first-hand experience with installing one are sponsored so I guess Ill take their word for it and do my own unbiased reporting once installed.
  18. Is that the sponsorship talking? lol Thanks for the info. Ill probably snag one when the time comes.
  19. Why would you bring an RX7 to supposedly the largest Datsun meet Tacoma has even seen... its like Datstock.
  20. Thanks. I should have added more details... Curious on the fit and placement. Ive had a Koyorad in the past in a couple cars and now that its a new product for the 510, I just want to make sure its a great fir with little modification. Thinking about upgrading radiators when I put the L20 in.
  21. How do you like that Koyorad? Im thinking about going that route...
