Lifted2wdatsun
Hey i sold my 521 to iminked and my boss sold me an 83 toyota p/u. and i was looking to some help on lowering. BAD IDEA AT TOYOTA NATION, i originally said i want to dump the truck with torsions, right. and some of the guys there were like "DUMP? I don't get it?" Straight tards. anywhoo, anyone that can help would me great. can you re-index the torsion bars on those toyota's, plus i found the Belltech sells drop springs for it. thanx for listenin to me bitch Quote Link to comment

ImInked
Hey Lifted!! I've been having a blast with the truck. So far I have "dumped" it more. I re-indexed the torsions and pulled some leafs. i also have escalade wheels on it now too. Right now I sanded down all the bare metal and all the fenders and front in are all in bare metal as well. I primed it all but im thinking of going all to bare metal and calling it good. Not sure yet. How ya been? Quote Link to comment
ggzilla
lifted, go with your name -- no lowering, instead lift it! That's Toyota Style. Or, the obvious solution is to sell the Toy and get another Dat. Quote Link to comment
yello620
re-index the bars, pretty sure you can. 84's and up you can. Sounds like you already know what needs done to the rear. Welcome back, even if you have a toyota now. Quote Link to comment

tyson
if you are still in need of info on your toyota you should check out yotascene.com, or twistedminis.com, you will find that these two sites are minitruck sites ran by minitruckers, lots of good info and good people, just like here, but for toyotas. Shonuff
ya, uhh... toyotanation is a newb forum :fu: 90% of the people there are looking for the tire size they already have on their trucks... i also bumped your thread over there. http://www.toyotanation.com/forum/t284509.html there really isnt much out there for yota pickups. bout the best one so far is http://www.toyotaminis.com and the ones mentioned above. id also take a peek at: http://www.celica-gts.com http://www.classic-celica.com http://www.pirate4x4.com note:toyota section but ya no ratsun equivlent for the yota peeps :( i think that twistedminis sells adapters or has info on how to put on newer style drop spindles and leaf springs are leaf springs. always remember that your truck is a pre-85 celica that can carry a load, meaning you got the same eng n tranny bits. and if you need help im local, most likely have parts in stock, and if you do a good job with your truck you might find me having my way with your tail pipe some morning. :D Quote Link to comment
