'Datsun' Tailgate?

What do you think? Should I get the Datsun 'gate or just leave it plain?

It is for 1971-1994 Datsun 1200 pickup.

i like the smooth look of that gate looks clean ,its hard decision maybe thats why i dont run one hahahha plus i dont hall stuff either

For a lot less than $200 I would look for a chrome sparkly decal set. The rest would buy a lot of Jack Daniels.

very few people have a smooth gate. I suggest you leave it.

Thanks for the comments. I'm tempted to go either way: smooth is fine, sparklies are cool.

 

One problem is that is doesn't say Datsun or Nissan anywhere on it. I wanted to get a personalized plate, but Nissan and Datsun was already taken.

Get creative with the plate.

 

Try to get a sheet of that chrome or white or what ever sticky back and cut your own out. Get the name up there an say it loud, say it proud. Or S-10 owners will mistake you for one of their kind, don't want that.

You can get one from G-speed Corp. out of Hawthorne, California, where I got mine. The early ones and the 1994s look identical except for the grille.

 

A few 2007 '1400s' are still available about $9000 USD from Nissan South Africa, but are not legal to drive on US public roads. The 1400s, aside from the larger engine, look different: They have a taller roof and a smaller back window.

i personally would not. have you tried JDM1200 or something like that?
