..........and the heater core.......pull it out, take to an old school radiator shop for pressure testing & possible repair.  Other option is find a USED one & do the same thing!

LOL - good one.. unless you're being serious, of course - I wouldn't be interested in a Toyota, particularly one in that colour...

yeah - this is what I think I'll do - the issue is that in Ireland we don't have the specialist shops that exist in the US, and with BREXIT, dealing with UK shops is a nightmare.. you don't know how lucky you have it in terms of car scene in the US - - I've a few old Porsches and its a ballache to get anything done here - whereas there are so many quality restoration and part fabricators over in California.. we have to spend twice the money on work half as good (and usually wait months for the work to be completed)

I do get it!  Been to IRL twice on holiday, didn't see much in terms of classic cars.  We were walking to the pub one evening in Ballyvaughan (west coast), I looked in a window of a garage along the sidewalk & saw 3-4 classic cars inside!  Was years ago, but there was at least a Triumph Vitesse, can't remember the others!  Happy to help if I can!

I was serious.John Deere Green or NOT. Those Land Cruiser  straight axle trucks and wagons are worth twice /4 or 5 times as much as any Datsun as they didnt bring any over. Those FJ70 series are the ones to get.and the staraight axle Nissan Patrols.

I am still working on getting the stop washer for the factory heat cocks produced from molded silicone.
You can change the orings but the rock hard stop washer is special made and
with it being hard is not going to stop the flow of hot water from going through the core, heating your feet in

the summer.
