yenpit
..........and the heater core.......pull it out, take to an old school radiator shop for pressure testing & possible repair. Other option is find a USED one & do the same thing! Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
I would have gotten this instead of the Datsun https://www.autoscout24.de/angebote/toyota-land-cruiser-pz-75-pick-up-diesel-gruen-e1101bc4-96c3-41e6-a3d1-d759112157a5?&cldtidx=5&cldtsrc=listPage&searchId=908668510 Edited June 7, 2021 by banzai510(hainz) Quote Link to comment

Been to IRL twice on holiday, didn't see much in terms of classic cars. We were walking to the pub one evening in Ballyvaughan (west coast), I looked in a window of a garage along the sidewalk & saw 3-4 classic cars inside! Was years ago, but there was at least a Triumph Vitesse, can't remember the others! Happy to help if I can! TJ Quote Link to comment

Those Land Cruiser straight axle trucks and wagons are worth twice /4 or 5 times as much as any Datsun as they didnt bring any over. Those FJ70 series are the ones to get.and the staraight axle Nissan Patrols. Edited June 8, 2021 by banzai510(hainz) Quote Link to comment
Goemon
A Renault 14 valve will work, but has to have the arm throw reduced. You will only find them in Europe. I am sold out. I modded mine to work with an aftermarket valve frame so it would mount to the box Quote Link to comment

Goemon
I am still working on getting the stop washer for the factory heat cocks produced from molded silicone. You can change the orings but the rock hard stop washer is special made and with it being hard is not going to stop the flow of hot water from going through the core, heating your feet in the summer. EDM620
If you're still searching for a replacement OE heater core, you may have to adapt something else. I have sourced this manufacturer and they give good details on their products Products (spectrapremium.com) Quote Link to comment
