Isaiahhh26
Hood shakes on my 620 then pops open when driving how would I fix it? Quote Link to comment
willz
When's the last time you greased the latches? I think there would be a cable adjustment as well 2 Quote Link to comment
Isaiahhh26
Never greased them. Advice on how to adjust them would be helpful as well. Quote Link to comment
willz
I'm a big fan of white lithium grease, others may chime in on their preference. There's also the chance that your hood isn't properly aligned 5 Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Wait. Do you have the spring attached up front? Do you have the rubber bumpers along the inside of the fenders? Do you still have the latch? Pictures? 4 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
Hood cable has nothing to do with this, only unlatches it when pulled. As gato said it should have the 4 rubber side bumpers that mount on the inner fenders. These snug the hood when it's closed down on them and prevents side to side movement. You can cut them out of something else and glue them on. If the front has been in a fender bender the latch may be out of place and need adjustment, Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
The spring can also be tightened with a flat head screwdriver. Do t go too tight though. You'll never get it open. 1 Quote Link to comment
Scgreen620
If your hood pops open and you have no bushings on the ends .. And it doesn't shut .. I think you might of busted the sheet metal I know on mine I did .. I had to weld it... Look closely Or take some pics Quote Link to comment
