reza
Are you selling it Reza? no plans on selling anything, might hang on to, or do some trading down the road. The plates are pretty beat up. I usually just put stuff away then ask myself "why I have 13 Datsun 411 spare doors" ??? 2 Quote Link to comment

JDOM310
Hey Reza you mentioned a future 2dr project in your future would that be on the black 411 and how much fabrication would be involved Quote Link to comment
reza
Hey Reza you mentioned a future 2dr project in your future would that be on the black 411 and how much fabrication would be involved Surprisingly......... That black Rl411 turned out to be a lot nicer than the pictures showed. Has solid floors, fenders, roof. Engine turned over after soaking the cylinders for a couple hours. Will put it on the back burner and collect parts for it, Only major thing it needs is a RH quarter panel. As far as 2dr conversions go, I would buy a set of 2dr door shells from japan have them shipped. Next move the Door pillar back far enough for it to now mate with the attached "2dr" Door. then use the set of rear door skins to fill in the quarter area. Its pretty simple, finding the doors would be the tricky part. Mike dropped the price to $900! go get it https://sfbay.craigslist.org/nby/cto/6036957034.html 1 Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
That looks like a good deal. Pick up the extra roadster motor and you'd be good to go. Quote Link to comment

reza
I know!! I read that dam I wish I had more space This one is a steal at the price for the condition many of the parts are in, bumpers, panels, glass, lights. and is complete. I'd buy it but it is way too nice! I need a destroyed with no bringing back to life, parts car. Quote Link to comment
JDOM310
I'm still trying to maybe get something soon .. keeping fingers crossed Hey DeYe I read back on a old forum that you got to see the Datsun heritage museum back when it was open Do you know of something else similar to that in California still open? I have seen old photos if what was in the museum looked awesome Reza you got anything up there like Nissan or Datsun.museum up there? Or anyone know of something worth checking Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
I did get to go there and it was awesome as you would think. We were the only ones there and got a personal tour of the place by Fred. Datrod met us there as well, great people. :) Don't know of any other Datsun museums there but Datrod might know? Quote Link to comment
]2eDeYe
The Peterson Museum is supposed to be excellent, just not Datsun or import specific. Quote Link to comment
bananahamuck
Scalpum, tdaaj and i went to the Petersen Museum ( even did basement tour) last November and we didn't see any Datsuns ,,, i believe there was a couple of super high end Nissan race cars , the ones that are relatively unidentifiable except Nissan written on them ,,, but no Datsuns. The experience was AA++ would trade again ,,, though if for nothing less than being so damn close to a Christine in the basement you could touch it,,,,,well,,,, if the security is looking the other way that is.. :ninja: . 1 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
The only Datsun at the Petersen museum that I know for sure was the pale green 410 or 411 that appeared in the introductory commercial filmed at the Petersen for the new Saturn. Several people asked me if that was my 411 shortly after the commercial aired. Quote Link to comment

As far as I can find NO! 1299cc engine is the J13 PL411. The RL411 SSS has the 1600 cc type R engine a modified roadster engine [to fit the smaller 411 engine compartment]. And 2 Hitachi SU type carburetters and a finned hammer head cast aluminum oil pan that fills the space between the front cross member and the firewall. The RL411 was a 1967 product but was sold as 1967 and 1968 year cars by the dealers. Quote Link to comment

JDOM310
Hey Reza any updates on your sss Quote Link to comment
reza
The 411 has been sitting in my garage since summer hit, mainly have been focused on cruising and appreciating my stout little 510. I recently swapped projects and am back on the 411. Lowering the front, perhaps too much, waiting on pinioned angled 3'' blocks.. I did pick up a factory Jeco accessory clock. Quote Link to comment
JDOM310
Reza your car is looking good ya might be too low for Speedbumos but if you like it man go for it you thinking selling either in near future Quote Link to comment
