datzenmike
Picked out some new glasses and applied for a new passport so I can go to Canby. Biked home early. Man I'm tired. 3 Quote Link to comment
HRH
That reminds me, I have to work on the vacation schedules at work tomorrow. Do we have Canby dates yet? I could go look, but I'm too Canadian. 1 Quote Link to comment

q-tip
Second weekend of June. I always feel like brain from pinky and the brain when people ask for the canby dates....."when is canby!? " "....the same time it is every year...the second weekend in June!" 3 Quote Link to comment

Rick-rat
Beware of Early Christmas gifts like the one you received, they are worried about you injuring your self or aggravating an old injury, so they take you out of the picture for a while and the next thing you know is ( Payton nationwide insurance hum) "they don't really need me anymore". They will find that they are money ahead to let you go and replace with someone younger and will heal faster if they get hurt. Hopefully this doesn't happen, but the private sector can do this, have seen it happen and all that really matters to them is the bottom line Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
I'm just going to take this for what it is.... some time off with pay. A Christmas bonus. Merry Christmas Rick. Happy New Year to you too. Quote Link to comment
Rick-rat
I really hope it is just a bonus, I was forced to retire early ( after 27 years I asked for one more month to get well enough to go back to work at full duty) Was told, sorry no light duty for you, you should retire and we will not put up any objections. Hate to see it happen to anyone Quote Link to comment
