zed1
Does anyone have a photo of the “Payload 1000kg” decal that is on the lower left corner of the tailgate? http://www.carpartsmanual.com/datsun520/Datsun520521Index/Body/BodyMounting/tabid/1500/Default.aspx Thanks, Keith 1 Quote Link to comment
Draker
Seems like an easy thing to reproduce. You may have to just have it made. 1 Quote Link to comment
DanielC
You do realize 1,000 KG is 200 pounds MORE than a ton? I do this to my L-16 521. The trucks were rated for 1,000 KG in countries other than the USA. I do not recall them being rated for 2,200 pounds here. 1 Quote Link to comment
Tristin
If someone has a clear, straight on picture of it I can redraw it and have them reproduced. I can that with any of the decals that people need... 1 Quote Link to comment

datzenmike
1,000 Kg is also a Tonne or in America... a Metric ton equal to 2,204.6 pounds. The North American L520 and '69 L521 with J13 engine and 4.875 gears is rated for 1,000 Kg of payload. The '70 and up PL521 (L16 engine) was only rated at 500 Kg or 1,100 pounds. 55020-20500 is the part number for both the L520, the L251 and the PL521 leaf springs, thus the L16 521 has the same rear leaf springs and can easily carry 2,200 pounds, (as we all know) although not legally on the highway. 1 Quote Link to comment
