datsunaholic
My suggestion is - don't. Use the console. Not only is the dash opening really too small, it's also not deep enough. Most modern head units have heat sinks on the back, and that would be rammed up against the vent ducting. Quote Link to comment
wayno
I had a pioneer deck installed in my 720, didn't have any issues, but it's not a fancy deck, just a regular radio/CD. I don't have room in my console, as I still have two more gauges to install yet. 2 Quote Link to comment
MikeRL411
JCWhitney used to offer a "universal replacement". I have an old post with part numbers but since I don't give a #$%^, I am too lazy to repost. Your task, not mine. Search is your friend! It was a center display unit. Separate On/Off and Tuning modules that fit any dash opening. A separate main electronics unit that could be mounted behind the dash, in the glove box. under the seat, in the trunk or anywhere else in the vehicle that you could run a cable to. It supposedly fit all the dash cutouts from the early units to the DIN openings. Good luck! 1 Quote Link to comment
Charlie69
Checkout this hacked 720 dash. http://community.ratsun.net/topic/14709-project-against-the-grain-nis720-build/page-5?do=findComment&comment=235555 Quote Link to comment
ryanthomas1
I managed to fit a jvc in there, though I forget what I did , the area under the ac control cluster I put in a equalizer, and ran connections to my amps under the seats. 1 Quote Link to comment

WHY would anyone want TWO radios, especially one that is completely useless? (EDIT:Somehow it double quoted, was going to delete it, but nah, it kind of fits, just as damn pointless as having TWO DAMNED radios! ) Edited December 25, 2014 by JoeCool 1 Quote Link to comment
1984nissan720
I realize it's been a while since the last post but any chance the original radio is still around and for sale? 1 Quote Link to comment
