DaBlist
Doesn't surprise me. You know the difference between BMW's and porcupines, right? With BMW's the pricks are on the inside. That maybe changing. You can find 2002's that need fixed up cheaper than 510 projects, I love them both. And before anybody starts arguing one is better than the other the out come is really based on who set up the car and who is driving 1 Quote Link to comment

But this thread is lacking the images its topic intended to support. Quote Link to comment

wayno
How does one get a title for these, if they are titled the year the title is applied for/year it is inspected, it has to meet that years emissions standards. Quote Link to comment

wayno
OK, so if so much of the original car remains, it's legal, is that what you are saying? Some are built on original vintage chassis I built a motorcycle when I was a kid, I used a 1972 CB750 honda engine, rear wheel center/brakes, and the complete front wheel/brakes, I bought an aftermarket frame for it, even though I had the title that matched the engine, they made me title it as a 1981 home built. ertpecs
I think the pics that DaBlist posted are from a builder named Mark Nugent. His shop does some great work. If you have a few minutes the first link I'll post is to an interview/walkthrough his shop and process. It's pretty cool http://vimeo.com/98891087 For those of you that do the book of the faces thing he has a page on there https://www.facebook.com/marknugent.com.au https://www.facebook.com/marknugent.com.au/photos_stream and his regular site can be found at http://www.marknugent.com.au/ But the reason I came back to this thread is that I found the page of the guys that basically fabbed almost an entire s30 body thats about a foot wider than stock and put it on a tube chassis. The shops name is Phillips Automotive and Performance. Their site is http://phillipsautomotiverepair.com/ Their FB https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phillips-Automotive-Performance-LLC/140144852696123 and hipstergram http://instagram.com/phillipsautomotivenperformance https://www.facebook.com/pages/Phillips-Automotive-Performance-LLC/140144852696123?sk=photos_stream I'm not sure if I can hot link images from IG or not. If there aren't a few oic's above I'll try to link to them again. 3 Quote Link to comment
