red13
interesting dash texture. What product did you use? Its rhinolining, its actually not as rough as it looks and still gives the dash flex. Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Fired it up! I undid everything the PO for the head gasket job did except the head gasket itself. Removed water pump, timing cover, pulled cam gear and reset everything as per Hainz video. Fired up first try. Then painted the grill, the PO had primered it, so I finished the job. Alternator bracket was busted. The Front tab was broken completely off. Made a new one and welded it in. You can see the fresh weld. Now to make run, not just fire on starter fluid. 4 Quote Link to comment

Lockleaf
Pulled all 4 drums apart since my brakes were terrifying. 3 adjusters frozen up, 1 wheel cylinder locked up competely. I rebuilt all 4 wheel cylinders with new seal kits. Took a torch and pb to get the frozen one to move. Locked it in my vice and tapped out the pistons. 5 minutes later my friend pointed out that his 20 ton press was sitting 10 feet to my left in my garage... that probably would gave made that easier :) Lightly honed them all and got them back together. I disassembled the adjusters and cleaned and lubed them with anti seize. I had to lock some of them in my vice and twist with a pair of long needle nose pliers and eventually twisted them free. Tomorrow, finish reinstall, and bleed everything. 3 Quote Link to comment
