datson4life
i came close to purchasing the ka 510 ebay radiators but those are not gonna fit cause of healight bubbles in engine bay, anybody out there have a good recomendation for a radiator that wont require cutting into headlight bubles? its for a ka24de in a 521 i only got 27 inches of width to play with, the 510 ka radiators are 28 3/4 inches wide 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Less than 1 1/2" per side. Dimple those headlight pots with a BFH Quote Link to comment
uberkevin
I've been looking at an 80s A10. I picked it up cuz the hose holes are on the side you need for a ka swap and its only a little bigger than stock. With some cool custom mounts on top and one on the bottom I think it would work. I set it on top of my radiator and it didn't look like it would be touching headlight bubbles. Quote Link to comment

kelowg
maybe hit up eli, see what he used on his. that last one u posted should work. 620 one would work if not using belt driven fan. had one in mine, thats how i know bout fan issue. Quote Link to comment
datsunrides
I have the Rabbit/Scirocco in my KA 521. So far no overheating issues and it's been a couple years. I believe these are for the late 70's dubs. Easy to spot as the newer ones don't have a rad cap. The one you linked to should also do the business. Quote Link to comment

By the way my red truck they cut the hell out of it and it does not cool any better and if you ask me it was a shame they cut that much out of the front core support. Quote Link to comment
datson4life
yea im trying to go a route that involes no cutting, i orderes the honda one Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
Just be sure to have a shroud and to seal the edges up front. You want as much air getting across that radiator as possible. Quote Link to comment
