I don't know about other makes but the first year ford had hydraulic brakes was 1940. 1 Quote Link to comment
datzenmike
Years ago I was talking to a dude pressure washing an old car on a trailer and it has an emblem on the back that said warning four wheel brakes. It was cable and metal shoes. The engine had a drip oil supply and you had to open a valve to let the oil into it. The oil just ran through and fell out on the ground. 2 Quote Link to comment

All the Desoto Hemis I have seen just said Desoto and it was stamped into the metal valve cover. I just did some research and Cosworth didn't exist until a year after the last Desoto Hemi was built. 2 Quote Link to comment
