[Hempquarters]

I recently had damage to my '70 521.   :crying:

 

 

 It's the type where I'm forced to do a full tear down and just get everything stock, (It was bought bare bones) or just sell the truck entirely. :hmm:

 

 

 

 

 opinions on value to : 1970, 521, front end damage w/ possible bent frame and right cab post, right front "A" arm damage, driver door is donezoe.

There is not much we can say without seeing photos of the damage, it is obviously a total if in a wreck, did the windshield break when the cab pillar/post was damaged?

windsheid did crack and the dash in front of the driver side is bent inward slightly.

 

 I know it's hard trying to paint the picture withought a canvass but any help is apprecaited,

There is your sentimental value.   That is priceless, to you, and worthless to everybody else.

 

With collision damage, possibly a bent frame, it is worth what ever you can sell some parts for, and what is left, price per pound.

Sorry, but from what you've described there is little value left. If the bed and tailgate are nice you could maybe get $300-400 for them (I bought basically as nice a tailgate as you could possibly find for $180 on ebay). Engine and trans might bring $300 if a runner. Rear bumperettes if nice as much as $200. Nickel and dime for other misc parts.

I would go with what matt said those numbers are very close.but again your asking for a body and  paint quote with out seeing the truck.
