KoHeartsGPA
Throw in some dye, look for tiny leaks.... Quote Link to comment
EastBay521
I dont believe in that dye shit. Pressurise with nitrogen and it takes the moisture out of the system aswell Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
Dye works good, as soon as it comes out it turns green so you can spot the leak of an invisible gas. Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
Plugged orifice tube? Kinked line? Too much freon? 200 on high side is real high. What was low side pressure? Quote Link to comment
Lockleaf
Holy shit I hate that question. I always respond with "what's the highest you'll go on it?" 2 Quote Link to comment

Just over 25 not quite 30. followed the lineds didnt see anything kinked. i charged it back up but im not sure if it was working properly on the road. while on the vacuum i changed a tire the started on the carrier bearing which took me like 2 hours to do because the damn yoke nut didnt want to come off and the local dealer ships didnt have any in stock but we found an independant shop that had one so i torched that shit off..then i took off im sure ill hear about it in the morning 1 Quote Link to comment
flatcat19
200 and 25 are not good. You have a blockage in the system. 125/75, although high, are a better looking set of pressures. 100/80 would be near perfect 1 Quote Link to comment
Rjawm
Holy shit I hate that question. I always respond with "what's the highest you'll go on it?" I responded the same way recently when selling a car dolly and got, "The lowest you'll go." as the reply. So I told him $25 less than the asking price in the ad and he said "Good luck." All this after he opened with a less than half price offer on something that was priced $500 lower than any comparable item on Craigslist at the time. Granted, It's what I expect when selling on Craigslist. Funny thing is, I sold it 2 days later...for $15 less than the asking price lol Quote Link to comment

flatcat19
I wouldn't. Replace your orifice tube first. $10 part vs. $100 or more. I missed what kind of vehicle this is for. Quote Link to comment
KoHeartsGPA
2007 Freightliner Cascadia, and with all the miles this rigs do every year, that dryer is likely the problem......but thats just me. Quote Link to comment

Rjawm
Who the fuck bargains $15 off the price of a car? That's hilarious! It was a car dolly, the thing you tow a car with behind an RV or if you don't have a full trailer. But still, I thought it was funny too. I was being an asshole and holding out to see how much I could get out of him, just as I was going to give in, he hit his wife up for the cash in her wallet and made a higher offer lol Quote Link to comment
