hobospyder
go with lower, it's a nicer look and if you bag it it'll still have functionality. if you're just going for hauling bikes and such on the flat bed they don't weigh a lot. unless you get into the cruisers, those get weighty. sports and dirt bikes all stay light for maneuverability either way, nice looking truck, lowered and raised Quote Link to comment

mikeanike99
Ordered a valve cover gasket and a oil pan gasket for my truck. Going to do an oil change on it when I get the gaskets. Any tips that would make it easier? Or go faster? Quote Link to comment
red76datsun
Put a gasket sealer on both sides of the gasket and stick it on. Good luck! Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
Like RTV? Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
get the Felpro valve cover gasket its a nice black type. o RILEY SELL fELPRO. I dont put any sealer on there at all. If one would ,I would put it on the valve cover side so when you lift the cover off it goes with the cover. But I dont put SEALER ON THERE AT ALL. AND IT ONLY LIKE 5 POUND FOR TORQ ON THOSE GASKET.!!!!!!!!!!!!! Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
Ok I didn't get the Oriley one (it was $10!) I just got the cheap rockauto one. Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
The Black Felpro one i reuse it all the time. I used to use the nissan ones/or the cork type but I like the Felpro ones now. one should get spare front cover gaskets kits and sapre valve cover set anyways to have on hand. Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
Needs more low....I still have to get my 4" blocks anyone got any they would let me. Buy/have with U-bolts? Quote Link to comment
banzai510(hainz)
Belltech make a 3inch and 2 deg angle. One really doenst want to go to low as it causes Carrier bearing issues or you have to but a spacer under the Carrier bearing. it also puts a load on the end of the trans tail end bearing. I think getting a electronic ignition should be first on the list. New batter cables, fuel filter. new anitfreeze Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
I stil have a year and a half till I get my license so it's not like I don't have time to do that. I guess I could get 3" blocks and 720 4X4 leafs to get extra low but that stuff is on the list. Quote Link to comment
mikeanike99
And also I will be getting a couple spare gaskets for stuff like the oil pan drain bolt, valve cover, oil pan and misc stuff like that. I will get one from orileys next time so I can reuse it. Quote Link to comment

Any input would be great! 15x9.5 from outter lip to outer lip? measure inner to inner if not. thats wider than any other rally ive heard of. on my 15x8.5 westerns I run 195 55 15s and I like it. not mega stretch but looks good Quote Link to comment
