difrangia
This past weekend I found myself situated such taht I was unable to work any of my ongoing projects and spent a bit of time on the laptop studying some Datsun history. I came across a short lived model of a little more than 500 copies from the mid 1960's of the predecessor of the 200SX. The Nissan Silvia. I was awestruck at the simplistic beauty of the design. My initial notion was that it made me think of the mid-60's Italian Isso-Rivolta, being even better looking. Thought I'd share it with forum members. http://i1303.photobucket.com/albums/ag157/sdefrange/Datsun/NissanSilviaCSP311_zps864aa847.jpg http://fabwheelsdigest.blogspot.com/2013/06/nissan-silvia-csp311-gen-1-1965-68.html Check out some of the other links on this site especially this one on nostalgic Japenese autos: http://fabwheelsdigest.blogspot.com/2012/05/japanese-vintage-car-magazine-nostalgic.html 1 Quote Link to comment

MikeRL411
It was previously stated on a long ago posting on this site and I believe "Japanese Nostalgic Car" that one left hand drive version was assembled for exhibition in the USA and had a J1500 instead of the R1600 engine. Apparently the only left hand unit. Quote Link to comment
