Wesglock
I started out posting new threads under various topics when ever I did something new and soon realized this was not the ideal way of documenting my build. Duh! I'm not going to write a novel regarding every turn I take with the build but rather post pictures of the different states of existence she's in with some commentary. I've got a crap load of after market goodies and I'll list it all once she's almost done. PM me and I'll give you alist off line regarding which way I went with a particular area. First day in my driveway. Engine bay. This is when I started to fully strip and inspect her for rust. Engine on the crate. 1 Quote Link to comment

Wesglock
Techno Toy Tuning (T3) Coilovers (comes with camber plates) with 280zx struts and hubs package, they supplied it all. I've got a Datsport DIY rear x-member and T3 rear coilovers. She's got all four wheels on but we need to put the fenders on and check clearance. The told the fab guy to roll the front and rear fenders before paint in anticipation of my offset, etc, but he forgot. Since no engine or rear diff is in, the stance is kinda funky, not picture worthy. As soon as the fab guys are finished with all I’m having them do, I’ll get the stance right and post more pictures. Thank for all the comments! Nice project!I see you are running a Datsport front suspension. What struts are you using with that setup?Paul Quote Link to comment

Wesglock
So are you in Grapevine? And is this your shop? Want to paint some more Datsuns? ^_^ Yes, I live in Grapevine. Nah, not my shop. I'm sure he'd love to get your business but he's not cheap. Send me a PM and I'll give you his contact information if you're serious. 1 Quote Link to comment
datsunfreak
Not really necessary, as there are plenty of good paint shops here in Fort Worth I can use. I just thought that if possible I'd rather send my business to someone who is into Datsuns. I love the 510. Hopefully you can bring it to a meet when it's done. B) Quote Link to comment
Wesglock
I'd love too. It's going to take me some time to get it to the point of being able to drive it to a meet. Hopefully sooner than later. Quote Link to comment

Wesglock
I have had the car back from the paint and body shop for several weeks now but it's been way too hot lately for me to get motivated. This morning was nice so I decided to assemble my rear adjustable x-member, and rear disc brakes. Next up is the Wolf Creek CV Joints. 1 Quote Link to comment
