difrangia
Talbot-Lago Teardrop Coupe. Body by Figioni & Falaschi. About twelve were built 1937-1939. Don't know if I could keep my mind on driving in a cockpit like this. 1 Quote Link to comment
difrangia
1963-65 Cheetah conceived & built by Bill Thomas Racing to go after the Cobras. Corvette engines. The silver car may be a re-pop as they are being built again. Easily found on web. #58 is an original set up for drag racing. Check out the hair-dos and clothes. If memory serves me, less than 20 originals were built. 4 Quote Link to comment

If memory serves me, less than 20 originals were built. cheetahs are the SHIT. tube frame chassis, coilovers, corvette brakes, engine mounted behind the front axle (front mid engine) and the motor is slid so far back they have 0 rear drive shaft (tranny output right to pinion via single u-joint). The headers on the motor wrap up over your legs and then dump out the side. They are SUPER HOT to ride in but amazingly fun. The did make a "continuation" series very recently, i think Bill Thomas liscensed them to make 31 or something and they only got to 17 or so. Not a lot of people bought them up since they wanted 90ish k for them. http://www.speedhunters.com/2013/08/btm-continuation-cheetah-up-close-and-personal/ just in case someone on ratsun has that kinda money, i know where that blue one is and the owner would sell it for the right price. 1 Quote Link to comment
difrangia
Is that Hugo from 'Fantasy Island'? 'The plane, the plane'. Here's something similar. Not !! Mid 60's FIAT Jolly based on the two-cylinder FIAT 500. A beach car. There were a bunch of these on Catalina Island back-in-the-day. FIAT 500's were about $1000 when new. A fairly nice Jolly can easily bring 60K now days. Quote Link to comment
